I'm pleasantly surprised to find how interesting this guest was. You can tell he's a great writer, has superb memory and is extremely passionate. I managed to sit through 1 hour plus of what's basically the making of a documentary. Well done to Chris for bringing him on!

I’ve been waiting for a podcast from you guys since a long time! I’d love to hear Chris Goodwin again with what’s happening at Aston Martin since he’s left Mclaren! I’ve just started to listening to this podcast (23rd of December, 7am, what an episode!)
    Greetings from France!

This wasn't just about Senna and Lucky and Manish Pandey, it was a fantastic conversation that touched upon so may things that should matter to all of us, about honour and handshakes and a value set that we are losing by the day. Well done both, two gentlermen whom I could listen to for hours.

Fascinating, I could have listened to another two hours of this. Great choice of guest too.
The first time Chris appeared on my radar was when I watched a TH-cam review of his own Citroen 2CV, and his views really struck a chord with me. Everything else, up to and including this, that he’s produced under his own name has been just as interesting and enjoyable.

I was blown away by this film, the longer version. the music was so poignant, the trumpet was quite haunting, a retissant fanfare to man considered as god to many. RIP Aryton, I remember the day well, in disbelief.

How did Bernie make it? Well when he was 19years old he had a house in Bexley which would be the equivalent today of a 4million pound house, how did that happen legally?

I wish Manish would delve deeper and report the bad as well as the good. He never really challenges Sennas win at all costs including taking fellow drivers out. Nor does he challenge Bernie on his corruption and jail dodging antics. He seems to just idolise both of them through rose tinted glasses

I thought the Senna film was terrible...Pandey incorrectly made such a huge thing out of an ironic & tongue-in-cheek little answer to another dullard question posed to Senna by a journalist looking to make a story...

Fantastic interview but I was disappointed that you didn’t ask about the unfair vilification of Prost in the Documentary. I was a Senna fan, and he was obviously rapid, but after listening to all the accounts, Senna often came across as a childish, spoilt brat! I’ve since become far more appreciative of Prost as a human being and a racer.
