Why are their painting techniques the same? In China, the painting methods of street painters are not the same, and some are even very different.
@ the 5 minute mark, I cannot believe that mother is trying to correct the artist drawing her daughter, when apparently he is doing a black and white portrait. A beautiful one at that, if she wanted a color portrait she should have went to Sevy Ten Davis. Luckily for her the artist has nerves of steal, a good constitution, and outstanding concentration. He handled her promptly and continued on.
emotion meets the eye and together with the help of pastel brings out the genuine outcome.but I dnt know why artists make the posers more beautiful than they actually are.....mystery!

Notice how these professional artists always place their subject on the left hand side (for a right handed artist) many artists forget and do not use this fundamental rule and start an up hill struggle.
That's a fundamental rule very right...
@@user-fu6wb3so7u Hi! Yes, but it is an old rule Most forget to teach. You can look at more than 100 Drawing Books and will not find it in there and most modern 'teachers' do not know or instrruct this. Check it out! Thank you for your most valid comment and every success to you..

@ chuchu chu it's using artistic license to please the customer. The subject doesn't always sit perfectly still with the same expression for the entire time so they get down the basic features and position and then alter some of the features that can make them look better. Often times shading makes a huge difference.

Well, he caught her likeness but I am not a fan of sanguine on yellow paper. I prefer black and white charcoal on graytone paper.
