not sure why people thumbed this down, it is a free instructional video I made for 8thcivic.com and it has helped many many folks make sense of the crap harness. cheers
The wiring is usually the hardest part of the install. I say, A+. The main reason I clicked this video, was to look at the wiring process. A break down of how it's going to be done is perfect too. I did my 07 Si, 7 years ago. This was a memory jogger. I bought a factory fog light kit from CollegeHills Honda. This is almost an identical harness. They have me a switch on the turn signal, but still 98% the same harness. Now I'm doing my 07 Civic Sedan. I appreciate this video. Thank You
i just installed this kit on my 09 coupe the OE harness at the bumper level for some reason was different from the kit provided. i just pulled it out of the plastic peice and plugged the blade terminal right into the oe harness and wrapped it in heat tubing. thank you for this break down of the install thou.
itzstanz i have the same kit and did the same thing but I cant find the harness switch on the inside, do you know specifically where it is or how it looks?
Longevity and Reliability wise OEM will always conquer. From problems such as condensation under the lens, rattling, or dulling of the lens overtime this all will fall under aftermarket parts. That is why Honda's OEM parts will always be better because they use genuine Japanese material and its designed to fit perfect and last for as long as the life of the vehicle.
I just did it exactly how you explained the only thing is the green wire I’m going to add to fuse#37 and white wire to positive on battery. Would that also work?
So can I run the power wire and the signal wire to the battery? I know that the fog lights will be on if I forget to turn them off but that might seem easier
I got this part on amazon, they are not original parts and they did not come with instructions, where can I find a website that will have those instructions?
+Qezt Nest so don.T buy or use them and stick to OEM. This is an instructional video for those who choose to spend $30 instead of $300 on a pair of foglights.

You're the only one who understands your instruction! MMRN!
Because the white wire with the fuse goes to the battery you got things confused
Because it's a DIY how to video but you didn't actually do anything

So can I run the power wire and the signal wire to the battery? I know that the fog lights will be on if I forget to turn them off but that might seem easier
