- Elmina Bakatue is an annual traditional festival celebrated by the chiefs and people of Edina otherwise called Elmina. brassband music seem to be the other of the day as many chiefs used that instead of the usual traditional ensemble we're accustomed to. This historic town, Elmina, is home to the infamous Elmina slave dungeon as well as fort Jargo. The name of the traditional ruler is Nana Kwodwo Kondua VI.
