We were curious and wanted to know... Just how much faster a tuned and deleted l5p is vs a stock one. Gotta say... Stock L5Ps are still very stout and fast, but there's no comparison for this modified l5P.

I own an L5P my man in the red truck ain’t launching it right because mines bare bone stock and I roast all sorts of muscle cars at red lights till about 80mph then I get passed like I’m
Standing still, I gap a guy in a new SRT8 jeep on a regular basis red light to red light. Gotta really boost launch her, hard. Hard as she’ll let ya and keep your foot buried! He was being soft on her
I have mad respect for gentleman with red Denali. He has a beautiful truck and may never want or need to race it. His truck is probably perfect for what he bought it for. I love it and he should be proud of his beautiful truck.

Probably fast forwarded thru it but how much did all of those parts total up to? The turbo kit alone is $3k, the trans price isn’t listed so it must be expensive. I bet at least $10-$12k in parts. Damn!

I also have a a red Denali with a two inch level what is the exact tire size of those toyo mt tires I know they are 35 but I need the size. Also do they rub at all Iam currently running bfg ko2 stock size but want to go a bit bigger next time but was afraid they would rub in the front.

Brad Bell truck is running mid 12s rn. Working with a new tuning company rn to push for some low 12s. Once tracks open back up we will be out there for some footage.
Well that was fun. I just wish these tunes would clean up the exhaust. On several occasions I have had the #$%holes roll coal while I was behind them. IT IS NOT NICE! Anyway, great content and presentation.

Off topic but I'm deciding about trading my 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali AWD 190k miles (I'm 2nd owner) for a 2011 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax Denali 340k miles (has 2 owners). Duramax truck has a 5th wheel hitch so I know previous owners have been heavy towing.
Always wanted a 2500HD Duramax

Is it a straight trade? That’s a lot of miles even on the Duramax. If you’re ready to drop some money on parts that need to be replaced soon, it would be an okay deal
@@JWMontoya Thanks for replying. I haven't check with the dealership yet but it could be a straight trade. I'm just looking for some advice before making any decisions or wasting my time checking out the Duramax. Yea the high mileage and knowing its been towing heaving loads make me worried. My plans are just to put on a lift kit and wheels that's it.
Sia xiong nah man I tow a lot and it’s not worth it no ones gonna be easy on pedal when towing a lot especially in construction which I’m in
340k miles and know that it’s towed heavy I would pass you can find something with less wear but I know patience is slim when wanting a different truck I’ve been there many times..lol

Not really. My 16' 6.7 powerstroke will burn all 4 and I'm only deleted/tuned w/intake - 35x12.5's.
The amount of torque these trucks make it really doesn't matter. Maybe a 1/8 car length at best.

Notsofast L I mean I run 2 trucks on 35s and my lbz on 37s. It’s still just as agile as stock on the 35s
I have 37's on my FJ40... but geared down to 5.29's to give back stock power and near correct speedometer. 35's on my Avalanche ( Diablo tuner, cold air, dual exhaust, e.t.c) 33's on my K5 Blazer. My tuner on my Avalanche record 0 to 60 or quarter mile times etcetera... big tires have always slow down things to some extent. It isn't always super noticeable any acceleration, but it definitely is in the zero to 60 test. But, it's worth it. Small sacrifice to pay for the greater good🙂👍🏻
Should’ve left both in 2wd so we could actually see the difference lol, even stock trucks are nasty from a dead stop in 4wd
