@@JL-gf3ycFor them it's about getting serious investors, there's no need for her to be aggressive or rude. She's more likely to make good deals if people like her.
At the start when Peter and Steven tell Touker not to eat the mushrooms I guarantee Touker didn’t understand the joke…. I dunno why but this was hilarious.
I'd 100% buy this and want to find and buy this right now after seeing this. This is genius and I love the idea of mushrooms being prepared in a way they can be eaten, Because they're so good for you!
To briefly explain, the main middle part of the pitch, which picked up the other Dragon's interest, and made them make the decision to back off deals, was when there was the calculation that despite her saying £60,000 earning, it was in words an "estimate" and the business made losses in it's first year putting it in deficit, and from the business point of view this was incredibly difficult to point out, because the pitcher got her numbers and percentages wrong and tried to hide it under the mat through verbal persuasion, which is a business tactic that disguises losses of money. In this scenario, she was way ahead of that.
It would be great to follow these businesses from the start of their journey. It's beyond me how they can create such a product, distribute it and have absolutely no idea of their margins.
Peter: "Just don't eat too many mushrooms, Touker." Steven: "You'll start seeing things." Hmm, I wonder which one makes their money from social media...
I'm appalled at the lack of grammar in the title - especially considering which country produces this series. What happened to the so called Queen's English? Elizabeth would be turning over in her grave. SORT IT
Every business needs the right mix... On point branding, professional marketing, good margins, fast turnaround, scalability, great product quality and adequate cashflow to get off to a good start. The dragons didn't appear to have a business taste for the potential of these crunchy mushrooms or the time needed to dedicate to make it work. And even if phan was a little absent minded with the numbers, she had a positive mindset and good uptake with retail stockists, there was lots of potential for improvement to turn this business into a great business! .
So you see a business woman who built herself a business and a product and you think she should give it up to be a pretty face? A little misogynist don’t you think?
Whoever proof read this title I hope you’re reading this :D From the same breed of people that edit the videos and decide it’s a good idea to start mid pitch before transitioning back to the start of the pitch. Seriously, what an incompetent bunch of clowns. The BBC has already done ALL the work in producing the show, all you have to do is upload it to TH-cam and you can’t even do that :D
To "noisey" or not to "noisey", that is the question. The BBC need to start hiring people based on competency (in this case, being able to read and write English at an adult level) instead of trying to fill diversity quotas.
I am fatherless now, so what? Do you disagree that people should generally be hired on their merits rather than on their ethnicity? I mean I'm all for giving opportunities to minorities, but pick the ones that can do the job.@@thatsonyou6093
