    Loma - doesn't have the breatheout sound. He is powerful even without that. Work in silence.

    The most skilled boxer to ever live hands down no disrespect to anybody else but pure technique wise. The most beautiful technique in the world. Him and Danny Garcia are (in my opinion) the best guys to watch on the heavy bag

      Those bags are specifically made to sound like that when you hit them I know because we have one at my gym he is a great puncher though very accurate

    • @jackg2630
      @jackg2630 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaellamorie2270 yes that’s kinda correct but the reason his sounds different is that he specifically trying to land flat with the most surface area of the glove. The reason they sound like that isn’t for show, the bay needs to be soft enough to hit hard while being heavy enough to stay out in front of you. That’s why the bag dents so much when he hits it’s cuz they want it to be soft but stay put. And as a result of that, it makes it way louder cuz the loose leather.

    • @jackg2630
      @jackg2630 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But yeah the is is amazing you’re looking at the most skilled boxer to ever exist

    • @funkrates4778
      @funkrates4778 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jackg2630 It's a combination of the gloves and the bag. There's a bag I sometimes hit that makes a weird wheezing sound. It's really weird. But I noticed that I can get a pop on the bag when I use my higher-end gloves, like my Cleto. If I use my cheaper bag gloves, it's harder to make the pop. I think it has something to do with the padding in the gloves or what type of padding is used.

    I’ve noticed most professional boxers disregard the proper form beginners are taught. What’s the deal with that ?

    • @CB-gb4ep
      @CB-gb4ep 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      WiTu Lo Because they’re confident in their ability and style I guess you could say. When you get to that level everything flows naturally, everything they’ve learned and experienced is ingrained into their instinct so there’s not always a need to incorporate the fundamentals that beginners are taught.
      Also, he’s just punching a bag, he’s only working on his punches and movement in this clip, but I believe there’s more to it behind the scenes and these videos only show a fraction of the work he puts in.

    • @chanceshoemaker6332
      @chanceshoemaker6332 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I think the proper form most are originally taught is just used as a foundational piece to build upon. And once fighters get in the ring more and become comfortable, they start to create their own technique and style that they feel best suits them

    Pardon my ignorance, I am a causal boxing fan, however I have not seen anyone or anything like him. Would he be considered the best pound for pound fighter in the last 20 years? I know Roy Jones was incredible, but I feel like Loma is a next level freakishly skilled fighter. Honest question

    • @brownbrownies7413
      @brownbrownies7413 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      K.J. G. Quite possibly, although its not very credible but Joe Rogan considered Loma one of the greatest boxers (if not the best) of all time, as well as one of the best P4P fighters.

    • @bryangan2224
      @bryangan2224 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Easily more skilled than Roy Jones, for sure. Pound for pound however, is about accomplishments rather than skill. Loma's resume is not as decorated as others at the moment, if you are talking about last 20 years.

      I don't think so. Te'o is an incredible fighter with an amazing amateur, and now, pro pedigree. However I think Loma has the ability to play chess with an opponent in a way that is all new to them. Don't get me wrong if Te'o lands a flush hand then he could out Loma to sleep, the kid has power, speed and heart as well. But I think Lomas ability to get even current champions to say "no mas" shows his level of fucking the head up he is capable of

      How is that relevant here ? To whom are you addressing your comment? And lastly why are you talking shit about Ali? You can't put super heavy weight in the same discussion with any other weight class... there is no limit on heavy weights.... liston was heavier than Ali, foreman was heavier , and on and on it goes.. Ali started as a light heavyweight fighting above his own weight , same as iron Mike, same as Frazier, up to this day where you have fury outweighing a guy by a few stones.... stop talking shit
