Next Up for Top Rank Boxing, Australia’s fighting emperor and former unified world champion, George Kambosos Jr., is on a mission for a new belt. Standing in his way is a Ukrainian fight legend, Vasiliy Lomachenko, a three-division world champion intent on writing another triumphant chapter in his Hall of Fame career.
Lomachenko and Kambosos will clash for the vacant IBF lightweight world title as part of a world title tripleheader on Sunday, May 12, at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Two additional world title fights will be announced in the coming weeks.
Promoted by DiBella Entertainment, Top Rank, Ferocious Promotions, TEG Sport and Duco Events, Lomachenko-Kambosos and the two additional world title fights will be broadcast in prime time in the United States on Saturday, May 11 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, live on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+.

Look at this guy. At 36 years of age, after all the belts, olympic medals, 400 amateur fights, still giving it his all in training. And t shirts he is wearing do not promote himself but Jesus and the holy elders of his Church. What a guy, what a generational talent and a gift to our sport😊
I've watched this fight over and over again... I scored it 7-5 for Lomachenko and I was being generous to Haney… Throughout the fight Loma was landing the left anytime he wanted.. He was constantly popping Haney's head back. His shots were the clearer and crisper shots. And Loma was also partially or fully blocking what Haney was throwing upstairs which is why Haney was going to the body more. Loma also controled the range and displayed better ring generalship which was making Haney look lost at times....This was a great fight but it was clearly a Lomachenko win. I always root for Vasily, he is a real boxing grandmaster.

Facts…he is undisputed tbh but we know he got robbed three times …that salido ain’t get one single point deducted , teofimo father was making noise that influenced the judge when he missed a lot of shots and if ya don’t believe me check the fight in slow motion…way bigger gap and Loma out scoring him and last but not least he beat the brakes off Haney

Regardless of 2/3 cards being wide he still lost the Lopez fight 8-4 or at least 7-5. It wasn't a hard fight to score, Loma won RDS 8, 9, 10, 11 clear & lost the other 8 rounds. Rounds 2 & 7 were competitive but he didn't do enough to win either IMO, more people gave him RD7 because he was down bad. I do believe he was injured but that's not a valid excuse & entirely his fault for going ahead with the fight. Big fan of Loma, not a fan of Lopez much less his dad but I'm a fan of boxing > any fighter & keep it 100 as I see it.

I live and work in Oakland, CA. A customer at my job wearing a DHP shirt (Devin Haney Promotions) i asked him if he went to the fight, he said yeah he is friends with Bill Haney, then i asked him if he really though Devin won, he said "hell nah" 😂
