"I'm not crying ... I'm bawling my eyes out!" Poor Akane gets very emotional at the last songs of momentous concerts, like the last concert on the US tour, and of course this anniversary concert. But "Endless Story" is so fitting as a final song. She's allowed to cry.

「メイド」というのは名前と衣装だけじゃなくて、メイドスピリッツ（と呼んでも良いのかな？相手を喜ばせることが自分の幸せという気持ち）こそがこのバンドの唯一無二の素晴らしさだと思う。
元々誰もがこの精神は多かれ少なかれ持っていると思うけど、小鳩の強力な有言実行によってメンバーにも火がついた様に思える。
ついでに言うと、このバンドの飽くなき向上欲求も恐らく小鳩の頑張りの影響を受けてるんでしょう。

I wasn't planning on crying today, and at the start of the video I still didn't mean it, but I went from a huge smile to tears of happiness in the space of a few minutes.
I know that the Maids call their concert a serving, but I honestly believe that that is not the right word for this video, I think that the audience here gave them as much as they give us. It's not a concert, not a serving, it's an exchange, a meeting, a communion between humans. Seeing the smile on the faces of Saiki, Miku, Misa, Akane and Kanami, gradually becoming a sincere expression of happiness and sadness to say goodbye, of thanks, is just magnificent to observe and personally, fills me with joy to see that despite what is happening in the world, there is still something beautiful.
I haven't had the chance to see them live yet (I live in France), but I thank you very much for brightening my day.

At 4:56 I didn't know they added lyrics thanking the fans. I thought saiki was just repeating the lyrics to extend the song when i saw the livestream. It caught me off guard I started crying tears of happiness again 😂

This song is criminally underrated and one of my favorites. Conqueror is probably my favorite Band-Maid album. But this song in particularly is so cleverly written. I was still noticing things buried in the arrangement on my 50th listen. It sounds pretty simple on the surface, but when you start paring it down, you see the layers and all the little tidbits buried in it.

I'd love to hear Awkward in a stadium setting ; the way the song builds. Agree about this song, it's well crafted & Saiki has become superhuman.
Looking at the comments, in so many different languages, Band-Maid has already Dominated a lot of the world. Granted, not in the numbers they (and we) want, but they are getting there!!!!
Selfish of me I know, but I want one more chance at a small venue show (hospitalized with a VIP ticket last time) before they blow up big-time.
These amazing ladies have fans everywhere they like good music and certainly not all of them write comments in their own language. For example, I live in a small country in Europe, whose language is spoken by few people, and I know that Band Maid has a lot of fans here.

The greatest rock band on earth. And it was so cool to see Saiki so emotional and so happy and so thankful at the end. And you know she meant it from the bottom of her heart. Teary eyed as usual for me. For those of us who get it, BAND-MAID has literally made our lives better and a lot of us actually need them daily for a boost of happiness in this miserable world. Honestly, if BAND-MAID never formed, a lot of us would have far fewer happy moments in our lives. They just have something extra that can literally make your life better. And I’m a 53 year old man with 40 years in the music world, mostly rock and metal world. BAND-MAID is different and the combination of the 5 of them is literal magic. I wish them all the happiness in the world. Because they have brought me so much, and they absolutely deserve it. Thank you, Saiki, Akane, Misa, Kanami and the 1 who made it all happen, Miku.

It blows my mind how big they've gotten in just 8 years from when I first saw them in the UK, playing tiny venues. They deserve it so much.

The livestream video version was slightly different from this official live video release, in the livestream, there are more and longer close ups of Akane, Miku, Kanami and Misa, where you can clearly see they're trying not to break down but Akane and Miku's eyes can been seen longer at some point from that video that they were both getting teary eyes.

そして2021年２月にロックの殿堂、武道館でその想いが実現するはずだった･･･
だが有観客ライヴが叶わないというコロナ禍があっても、楽曲制作とオンラインでのお給仕を留まることなく続けてきた彼女達が
2023年11月、ようやく実現出来た、しかも10周年という大ステージでのラストの一曲は、やはりこれだった
I replay everyone of these Yokohama videos over and over when they come out. I think every live video since (and definitely including) Puzzle from Tokyo Garden has been straight fire, even by Band-Maid standards. And for reasons that are hard to explain hearing Saiki's voice crack with emotion as her eye swell with tears brings me great joy, as well as pride in what they have struggled so hard to do in Band-Maid.

追っかける様に手に入れた横アリのドキュメンタリーブルーレイでは本当に地味に何度も何度も泣けたし、、理由は勿論色々と一杯あるんだけど、ハッキリ言って俺のじわっと来た一番はメンバー全員が本当に仲の良い事かな、、全くの受け狙いのコメントでも無くて、それに関する喜びはメンバー全員がお化けレベルにある音楽演奏技術や作詞作曲の能力よりももっともっと遥かに上の方ににあるんだよね実際に、ははは 努力家の人間は自分と同じ匂いをかぎ分けて無意識の内に惹かれ集まり、きっと互いを刺激しあうんだろうね、、
これからステージオンって瞬間にカナミちゃんアカネちゃんが鳩に誘ってくれて有り難うって少し照れながらもしっかりサラッと言って、ミサちゃんが前の日にでも書いたで有ろう小さな手紙をメンバー全員に手渡して、我らが誇りのいつもクールでカッコいい彩ちゃんがなんかドキドキするって言って明らかなハイテンションで少し揺れてて、カナミちゃんがゲネで語った愛弟子の鳩ちゃんに対するその感情にも泣けたし、その鳩ちゃんはいつでもそこにしっかりと立っていて絶対世界一な最高のメイドオーラを振りまいていてくれ、、
それぞれが結構にハードロックな人生を乗り切ってこられたであろうオールドスクールボーイズの皆さんをここまでもポジティブに心頭させてしまうバンドメイドの凄さと、数あるバンドの仲からここにたどり着いたファンの皆さんのそのメンバー並みのラッキーさに感謝でーす、、Yey!!! バンドメイドは いつも最&高 だぁぁ 。

I feel like the addition of that wonderful final verse was meant to be the gift. But it was actually the emotion in Saiki's face, and the sound of her voice breaking as she expressed her thanks, that was the real gift for fans.

The mysterious harmony of Black Hole's demonic sound and Memorable's angelic murmuring gentleness...
It is an unbelievable fact that the same members have unleashed as sound the cruel violence of sound that kills everyone who hears it, destruction and purification, and the kindness and compassion that purifies and redeems anguish and vexation.
On instrumental tracks such as 'Onset' and 'Without Holding Back', the instruments speak eloquently to the audience and call out to them with their expressive sounds.
The girls seem to be overturning old stereotypes of music and breaking new ground.
They overcome differences in national borders, race, gender, ethnicity, culture and language, as if they had never existed in the first place, and convey joy and inspiration to people all over the world.
The true meaning of the common phrase "music has no boundaries"... I realise that I have not understood it well enough.
The recent acoustic live performance at the Shibuya LINE CUBE also proved this to me, with many fans from abroad sharing the facts of music with me.
No two of their live concerts are the same.
And the best live music is always to be found in the latest 'OKYUJI'.
The word "one and only" is the word they use to describe their existence. And live performances are always "once in a lifetime".

I really hope they will release a DVD from the okyuji, it was a beautiful setting on stage. I have never seen anything like it, like they were sitting outside in a garden with trees and flowers. The lighting and sound was superb.

This song is powerful to me because the lyrics are clearly a love song to someone that the singer has been with for a long time already. She is committing to stay with them despite both the good times and bad times that they have had in the past. At this performance, you feel that this song is a love song from Band-Maid to their fans. It transforms from an abstract song to something that is being sung to us. "You know where ever you go, We'll be together."
But the kicker is when Saiki sings the new verse at the end that solidifies this song as a love song to the fans:

For letting our voices join together

BAND-MAID 本人たちは日本武道館公演キャンセルが残念だったそうだが、横浜アリーナでやって本当に良かったと思う。会場が大きくて中央に花道があるから、すごく見栄えがする。武道館はこれよりだいぶ小さく見える。
キャパシティを考えると東京ドームの方がいい

Band-Maid is truly my band of bands. They don't need to get better at this point, they just need to keep going. I'm here for whatever they come up with next. This is truly emotional seeing them at this level. What a great ride it's been.

This is true, Saiki says Band-Maid is like a japanese puzzle box. Hard to put together, but hard to take apart. This is from her interview in BURN magazine.
