小鳩のギター音が珍しく一番大きく聴ける動画だけど、完璧なリズム感とかカッティングとか天性の才能が良くわかりますね。他のメンバーの演奏はもちろん素晴らしいのだけど、天才サイドギタリストと比類なきボーカル力を発揮する彩姫さんがいるBand-Maidは本当に奇跡のハードロックバンドです。
Best band on EARTH
My first love is Kanami for so many reasons, but the others are all brilliant and Miku has turned into the perfect little rock machine. I know she plays mostly power chords, but gradually other more technical stuff is emerging and she is the ultimate 'showman' and sells the song 100%.

Thanks. This is the very best hard rock band on the planet today. Five incredible young ladies from Japan have single handedly saved rock n roll for Western Civilization. Miku declares this the year of turbulence, make it or break it year for Band-Maid. As it sits today we have a top five band in Japan. What we should have is the best hard rock band on the planet today. It is exciting to watch and see which way it will go. Me? I am a 66 year old man from Sacramento and l am rooting hard for them to become the greatest rock band in the world. They are that damned good.

Great footage. But I'm hoping they officially release SOME of this tour, because 99% of the videos on youtube suck for sound quality. I was in LA for that show, and it was damn amazing.

...Kanami,....actually 'likes' her Band-Maid uniform.....she is comfortable with the 'look' and agrees with the the 'Serving' concept....Saiki and Misa have developed their own personal uniforms to express their true aggressive, dominate personalities....Akane totally agrees with the Band-Maid concept and is comfortable with her own uniform....Miku? ..po? ....what can ya say?....epic accomplishment....no demands on any uniform standards...everyone has free reign to dress and present themselves as they decide......which brought out the best of the Band-Maid personal designs.....Miku stated during an interview how 'management' initally had 'so much control' over what Band-Maid did.....very probably it was Miku who had management 'back off' letting Band-Maid agree amongst themselves what to do......
And what is crazy is that no one here in the states even notices when a front man for a rock band is wearing his old McDonald's shift leader shirt. Her statement about her former employer of six years ago is just as valid. Like Band-Maiko. People talk about it was an April fool's day joke. Westerners talk about the wonderful Geisha costumes. When what is happening here is a Geisha's primary responsibility is as courtesan or prostitute. Maiko being the lowest form of Geisha. Saiki sings in a wrong side of the town dialect Kyoto. Couple singing in that low class dialect and dressing as the lowest class prostitute which is all too obvious to a Japanese is totally missed by those from another culture. Kiss was a gimmick. Band-Maid not so much or at least not as much. Regards.
Just got my tickets for the September 30th show at the Echoplex in LA. So what that it's an eight hour drive each way from Sacramento. I would not do this for just any band.

YEEEAAAAAAHHHH, THIS IS HOW YOU FILM A VIDEO !!! Their Official Live Videos suck because they look like somebody found a drunk in an alley and he picked up pieces of film cutoff from the floor and spliced them together. They've got 10 professional camaras and still can't put a decent video together. Whoever recorded THIS video should be the one in charge of those 10 camaras because they know exactly where to point the camara and when to point it there and how long to keep it there. The only mistake I see is when they tried to get the Bass and Lead in the same frame and couldn't because they were too close. So it looks like they took a step back and stepped on someone's toes and got a shot of the Bass player's feet. Congradulations on an excellent filming.

貴方が、AKB48とか演歌を聞いて育って来たのか解らないけど、ヨーロッパだとかアメリカのロックを聴いて育って来た人達がこれだけ熱狂するんだから、女の子のバンドと言う眼鏡で見ていても、音楽的なクオリティーは、かなり高いと思うよ。私も、アメリカと日本で、Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Wishbone Ash, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Yes, Jethro Tull, Al Di Meola, Return To Forever＆etc を見て来たけど、彼女らのsong writing skill とか、テクニック的にもかなり良い方だと思うよ。と言うか、ロックがこれだけ下火になったのに、こんな若くて可愛い彼女らが盛り上げてくれる事は、非常に凄い事だと思いますよ。

全くです。女性バンドで世界に通用する名曲を何十曲も作っているのは特筆です。メタルの方向に行ってたら今は無いでしょう。
