- Here's how cheating on PS5 with Cronus Zen is still very EASY even after the Call of Duty Warzone Anti-Cheat update.. I tested the new PlayStation 5 cheat device update that supposedly detects Cronus Zen! But this happened.. It turns out, the Warzone anti-cheat update does NOT work on PS5. I show you actual cheating gameplay caught on camera but I was NEVER banned. This video proves cheats are still a big problem for PlayStation. For educational & testing purposes only..

The update hasn’t been fully rolled out and it should be up on April 12th. But for some players on COD WZ2.0 they have a notification that there is an unsupported device on their game. Continued usage of the cronus zen will result in to a ban.

Unfortunately developers they make the games like call of duty and Fortnite tell their community that they will ban the cheats, but then they never actually do. Because if they did, they know they would lose more than half their player count, unfortunately 😢 for those of us that don’t cheat, it really is frustrating because you can tell when someone’s cheating

What you just said is stupid. Losing more than half the player base? First of all, making anti cheat isn't easy, new cheats gets developed day by day. And cheaters aren't a huge majority of cod and fortnite, even if they ban them all, only bout 10-20% player base will be lost but that's a great sacrifice in exchange of not being called "trash game because of cheaters" (remember what happened to csgo before that pay for comp update?)

Anyone who actually cheats and follows updated scripts isn't looking for this dudes videos 🤣😂. They are paying for their subscription services with daily updated working scripts and most likely are actively modding their own scripts in the very active Cronus community on either Reddit or discord. They don't even know this dude exists nor do they care about this video. I've worked in anti cheat for 15 years and the under belly world of cheaters and hackers is a very deep and well operating machine. They are usually 3 steps ahead of developers and two steps behind players watching them through walls.

The update hasn't taken effect yet. It was said to release on April 12 (season 3) which is when it will receive the major update.

It hardly works and the solution people did was randomize the timings slightly to seem more human and bypassed it. The upcoming xim matrix will make the cheating even worse with its smart actions. Shame. Xim/keyboards weren’t detected at all even though so many articles said xim in their titles

Did you try it on other guns as well? It seems that you only tried it on a handgun (x12) and the recoil on it is barely recognizable.

Even after Wednesday it doesn't ban players - only gives them a warning. It should completely and immediately ban players if detected.

So this has nothing to do with the video or anything so im sorry but I've had my ps5 for 2 years and whenever I put a game in I get this soft buzzing sound then after couple minutes it stops and ps5 is quiet. I assume this is normal cause I've never had a severe problem but in the back of my mind it is worrisome. Is this normal? Once again sorry that this has nothing to do with video. Thanks for your help

the only device like this i used was the strikepack, because it gave me back buttons and it was cheap, then when sony released their own and it was half the price of even that cheap option and it was wireless, I literally threw it in a drawer and never used it again, but man do I miss using the back buttons, I hope they make one for ps5 sooner rather than later I really don't wanna get a pro controller just for back buttons
Since pro controllers have been a thing that’s the main purpose of them is to give you back buttons. Maybe a shitty third party will make back buttons for Dualsense but Sony will 100% not because of the Dualsense edge. So you either miss your back buttons enough and get a pro controller or wait to see if someone makes back buttons which could not even happen
Another alternative is installing your own back buttons too

the coolest but most novelty feature of the PS5 is when you're on GTA v in a nightclub and you mute all sound you can put the controller handle to the back of your ear and you will be able to hear everything😂

I played through all of MW2 when controller modding became popular. Nothing was worse that, anti recoil cheats arent anything that would stop me from playing.
True the 360 days were something else but sometimes they were fun with modders dropping money or unlocking things for us
There are several things that happen before you get banned. An early one is making you bullets harmless so you may not have recoil, but you can't kill anyone.

on my PS5 i notice playing Destiny 2 in the game options you can select full auto mode and now every non-auto weapon is fully auto. Is this cheating?

how can they claim to make anticheat against something that doesnt alter the games files or leave a footprint? it alters the input from controller to console therefore not actually editing the games files in anyway shape or form?

I've recently started playing Battlefield 2042 and I'm sure a lot of players are using something similar to this. I manage to get killed by 1 or 2 shots from quite a distance away, yet I have to unload about 50 rounds to get the same result.
Players are just trash if they have to use a cheating device 😬😑

thats weird cause i have one and when i try use it on my ps5 games like dead island 2 it says cant support device or it dont detect the remote but on ps4 games it works that or i use the ps4 remote for the games

Report player is setup as a debuff software from what I found out recently. I found 2 player on PS5 who were cheating while playing COD MW3. These 2 players have wall hacks. Aim at the walls and shot them before the enemies barely made it to the opening.
Majority of us reported those 2. It was in proximity chat and keyboard chat. Players were communicating. Those 2 claim that they were on PS5. The enemy side typed, "If you weren't hacking, why are you trash after the reported hacking?" Those 2 claimed that they were better and faster. Then again, the enemy side ask them the same thing. I'm on XBOX One Launch Edition. Textures and colors are mismatched. Could barely see shit
Thank you for giving me the name of the device. I didn’t know this kind of thing existed and now I’m buying it to improve my gaming.
Now this is just based of a feeling, so take it for what it is, but I think all of this could have been avoided if all of the FPS giants like Battlefield could have included mouse and keyboard support in all cross play games from the beginning.
My feeling is that all these devices stem from the same heritage that a bunch of players wanted to play with m/k on console and someone figured out the basic idea of a device that interprets and converts signals from controllers into the console. I don't think that these devices would have been as prevalent if things like the Xim had not reached mass market in the first place.
But as I said, it's just a feeling.
I gave up pc gaming because I can't use m/k for gaming. Why should people like have to be forced to use it. When I do play on my PC I use a controller.

You will only get banned if/when another player reports you for cheating, then if/when an admin reviews your game play.
You were shooting walls. I understand why; you didn't want to affect other player's games. But for efficiency, as a coder, I would only run the check for Cronus Zen behavior when a player was shooting another player.
Facts. Just seems pointless to worry about a player shooting a wall.
This isn't how anti-cheats work. They're going to detect hacks/cheats at the memory level, not analys your (faked) controller inputs to see if they're legit or not. Meaning the second you either loaded the game or joined a match it would detect the device and flag you to be in the next ban wave.

To my knowledge, these Cronus cheats only work when playing PS4 games on the PS5. It does not work if you are playing the PS5 version of the game, correct?

Great video. More insight from what I have read online in various places as well as saw on other videos.
1. Anti-cheat only detects after certain amount of games 5-10
2. Of course if you get reported a number of times the likelihood of getting caught is increased if you get put into the "cheater" pool
3. Sometimes you don't get banned or notified that you have been detected to be a cheater, you just get into cheating lobbies or they also have a few other things in place where you dropped your gun and such.
Those are just some of things. There are plenty more but I just figured to put this here. Have a good daya

I can see a problem because the DualSense Edge has additional, mappable buttons. I don't think they will be able to differentiate between mappable buttons & cheat firmware, & they can't ban mappable buttons because DSEdge is an official product designed to make pro players more competitive. Would be interested to hear you & your viewer's thoughts on this?

Nah you don't know what you're talking about it's completely different 😂 Remapping your buttons doesn't behave anything like cheats they sell extra buttons you attach to a PS4 controller and you program them to other buttons on your controller it's a Sony product not aftermarket 🙈 So you can remap R 3 or L 3 to them etc. Remap and macros are entirely different. Besides that if these companies weren't so lazy they could stop a lot of the cheating ask the PUBG devs for instance they flat out ignore 90% of cheaters and say they can't do anything it's all bullshit.
To understand why the "cheat detection " you must first understand what the zen is actually doing. It's not changing the consoles hardware or software. So games like Cod won't be able to detect anything maybe on pc because they can actually force you to install software that can detect modifications to input devices connected to the pc. Maybe if Sony added similar anti cheat software to their consoles, then the zen would be useless 🤔
Not true about the PC , I use PC and can dam well do whatever I want , I can even get free mods download's for every game out there.

@@ByImpel That's kinda true though, GTA 5 is a perfect example, there are too many cheaters with mod menus on PC. Rockstar could fix this by enabling EAC on their game, but it's not making them lose money, so they don't care. This also applies to Activision and many other companies.
Then we would have a basic Vanguard (Valorant's anticheat) case😂, where the console could do god knows what if that anticheat had a false-positive😂

I believe I heard that it will not immediately ban the user. The cheater's bullets will do nothing to normal players and in some cases normal players will be invisible to cheater's allowing the normal players to kill the cheater without them even being able to see who killed them.

This system is broken i don't cheat im not very good but there's times when ill fully unload a clip into a player and it bearly breaks their plates they turn and shot me and from the kill cam footage they only seem to hit me with 3 or 4 bullets and all my plates are gone and I'm dead first, so frustrating. Also according to my friend who is a really good player he gets reported for cheating all the time even though he doesn't cheat and when he's playing with me especially in dmz the other players seem to be bullet sponges and he says its activision reducing the amount of bullets that hit and makes lesser skilled players do more damage to compensate. He reckons its less about the anti cheat and more about them trying to help the lesser skilled players via their skill based matchmaking or something. Im not gonna lie i have thought about getting the cronus just to eliminate recoil lol
Thank god somebody is presenting on of the biggest issues currently arising on competition on console (and pc). It ridiculous, that Sony gives shit on banning third party device that aligned to cheat.

Since this is an external device, and not something that modifies the game's code directly, it's going to be very hard to overcome.
I have doubts that in game cheat detection can counter a physical device. That seems unlikely at best.

Hey John! I’ve had some trouble with someone that I cannot find any answers for, maybe you can help? So my TV supports 4k 120Hz, so whenever I play my Ps5 games, my screen will go black, then it’ll become really bright and i can see very well, but when I switch to a Ps4 game, it dims the brightness back down, and I cant see as much compared to my Ps5 games. Any help?
It's possible that your TV is disabling some sort of auto dimming-feature when 120Hz 4k is enabled. Depends on the TV though

Either that or Motion Enhancement settings. but it only ever showed up when i played ps4 games, when i switched the option when null. but in case anyone has trouble there’s the answer !!
