I realize you may be a bit unused to such a public format, but I really enjoyed it. I really liked you speaking multiple languages, it really made me put my work away and learn some Czech (the one I'm learning now). And also, the little excursion you did through the city was really interesting 😄 Don't overstrain yourself, get enough sleep, and eat well! Greetings from Ukraine!

It's great to be seeing your videos more often again, Lindie! ♥ It was fun watching you while walking around the park and other places. It would be good to do that more but also find some areas where you can sit or at least catch your breath. Also, I really enjoy you adding in stuff about tech and graphic design. This is because my work is similar but more in engineering, CAD, solid modelling, 3d printing, etc. Keep up the great work! 🌏🌍🌎☯🆒☮😎

I had my first conversation with a native Japanese speaker a few days ago! Me and my mom were in Disney World's Epcot, and they have the World Showcase there where you can travel to different parts of the park dedicated to different countries. The countries are Mexico, China, Norway, Italy, America, Morocco, Japan, France, the UK, Germany, and Canada. A great place to practice, because they have all sorts of Cast Members that are a part of the different countries that are represented there. I met a sweet Japanese woman at the front of the Japan showcase and I said to her こんにちは,お元気ですか? And her reaction was so sweet! We had a short conversation and she slowed down her speaking so I could understand her better. It took me a second, but I understood almost everything and we would switch to English when there was a word I didn't know. I could only imagine what was going through my mom's head, not knowing what we were saying to each other. She didn't even ask, because she didn't want to butt in. It was a really cool experience, and I would love to do it again! Definitely speak to natives whenever you can, guys. 頑張ってください!

The video was so great!! I'm sure it was tiring and time consuming though, both filming and editing/subtitling. Talking by yourself on the street feels really awkward, but I loved seeing you speaking different languages and all the different places you went to! Thanks for sharing and I'll look forward to the next videos!!

CHICKENS!!!!! 🐔💗 sooo cute! Lindie, for someone who considers herself still in the beginner phases of Spanish, you express yourself very well 🤓 your journey is always inspiring! Although I am most "advanced" with French and German, I still do my best to focus on those languages and alternate between my other beginner languages... But that may slightly change in the coming new year. Thanks for your wonderful videos 🥰

This video was really nice! I like the more casual style of talking about languages while just going about your day. The casual switching between languages was also very interesting as I sometimes didn't even notice the language had changed, which shows how well you're able to express yourself in them.
I'm also curious, do you notice that your French podcast gets easier to follow when you're about to fall asleep? I seem to get better at understanding languages I'm still learning when I'm almost asleep and I wonder if it's because I'm too tired to doubt my skills during those moments. I was wondering if others have similar experiences

Hi, Lindie! I loved the video and I'd definitely like to watch more of this kind, as long as you feel comfortable filming them of course. Btw, maybe you've already realized while editing but, anyways, I have a couple Spanish corrections, in case you still need them.
First, "buscar" means to search for something, while "encontrar" means to find something, maybe you mixed them. And second, if you say that someone is a beginner, you use "ser" instead of "estar" because it is about what you are and not about how or where you are (this is hard to explain since in english it's the same verb haha but i hope you can understand it). If you want to use the verb "estar" when talking about being a beginner at something, you can say "estoy empezando" which means that you're starting, like, you've just started and/or you're at a beginner level.
    Hope it was helpful

Q: What does advanced language study look like for you? You talked about still sitting down to actually study Korean after 10+ years. What are you concentrating on more (vocab/grammar)? Do you even find something new meaningfull to learn?
English is that type of language for me now and I'm kinda lost.
    Thank you.

    我在学习中文。
    我觉得中文很难,但我喜欢每天学习。
中文是我最喜欢的语言。(at least my favorite to study at the moment, it's liable to change depending on many factors XD)
    我一年前开始。(I think)
And I'll stop here, but I find that if I like the language, studying a bit every day or so is fun and enjoyable and great as a good start of the day.
It's true though that English is my second language and I don't study it, however I do use it fairly often on internet and I found that it's enough for me to maintain english while my chinese needs very, very regular work or I forget everything.

I had a few multilingual days at a Sukkot campmeeting! There was a Haitian-Canadian (if he's talking on the phone and it sounds like French, but I can't understand a sentence, I figure it's Creole), some Spanish speakers came from Mexico and elsewhere, a Brazilian and his wife who now live in Israel baptized two people in Hebrew, and a couple from New Zealand spoke a few words of Maori. Hearing Hebrew in a Miner Brazilian accent and a New Zealand accent was interesting. I read a bit of the New Testament in Greek (also brought the Peshitta) and sang in Spanish a song I translated from Hebrew and another that was translated from Hebrew a long time ago.

“hakubutsu-kan(博物館)” is used for a building where there are historical and scientific objects.
“bijutsu-kan(美術館)” means a building in which artistic objects are exhibited.
    It’s a confusing point for Japanese learners…
