I saw the notification and thought it was Sunday. I didn't see any Orion then I knew it wasn't Sunday. Still loved the video. Great info on buzz baits. Thanks Ben and the Hook Up Tackle!! 🎣✌️
Great video buzzbaits catch big ones ! I had no idea Gary Y made buzzbaits thanks for sharing that gonna try some. I have caught some slobs on lunker lure buzzbaits !
Just need light sandpaper to get it to squeak it out. Is very easy try it 300 grit to start off with then go lighter or heavy on the sand. Like the G man buzzbait is adorable.
Love the videos! Do you guys throw any plopper style baits if so maybe a video on those soon. Also would you consider whopper plopper style baits buzz baits?
Couldn't you also use one of the big Yamamoto grubs? Not that I'm not a big fan of the Ika...I am...but for reasons I don't want to say here. Lol. Think Cover Craw. I'll hang up and listen. 🤣
If you want to break a buzzbait in to make it extra squeaky use a fan and put a drop or two of vinegar on the blade eyes every 20 minutes for a few hours.
I hardly every use a buzzbait with a skirt and I dont like the buzzbaits with that clacker. I prefer the ones where the blade hits the head of the buzzbait. It just makes a deeper more pronounced sound in the water.
Quit telling people about the V4. It’s legit my go to and I often pick it over the Boa. Slap a small spunk shad on the back for little extra weight and it’s killer.
Feels like your thoughts about the free swinging buzzbait trailer hook directly contradict your points about soft and low rods for chatterbaits With the buzzbait you’re saying the pivot point takes away fish’s leverage but with the chatterbait you claim the pivot point is a way for fish to get off. This isn’t meant to be a gotcha moment, I’m just curious to hear you elaborate further
Not sure how Buzzbait trailer hook and chatterbait are related? Chatterbaits don’t have free swinging hooks - they’re all one unit, so you need a softer rod because the fish have a lot of leverage against you. When I run a trailer hook on a chatterbait, I rig it the same way - free swinging. I’m not sure how that contradicting anything 🤷🏼♂️
I guess the pivot point of a trailer hook is behind the weighted head whole the chatter pivot point is in front of it which could make a difference. I don’t throw a buzzbait a ton but i do put it on a softer MH rod when I do. But in theory a buzzbait rod and chatterbait rod could be the same?
@@thehookuptackle_usa with the chatterbaits you were saying the pivot point of the blade gave the fish an advantage in throwing the hook compared to a spinnerbaits. With the trailer hook you are saying the pivot point is an advantage to the angler to keeping them pinned, which confuses me
Love these product top picks from you guys! Great stuff. I'm poor now though lol. I could probably open a tackle shop at this point.
Hell yeah! Competition! 😜🍻
Thank you guys, I’m really excited to watch this! Definitely, picking up some buzz baits from you guys.

Haha! I drank them all on Sunday! Thank you for watching my friend!
Very informative. The Jamaican Boa is built like a tank. Very durable and effective with a great hook. Love em.
Definitely one of my fav's!!
Evergreen LB Buzz!! You’re missing out with this one!! Best one in my box
That bait has caught me quite a few river Smallies...any color will work as long as its black lol.
Love the information you guy provide in these videos.
Love it. Love throwing Buzzbaits. Surprised you didn’t include rod / reel / line recommendations
Another great video! Still waiting to see the video on all of the bloopers! 😁
We pretty much just leave the bloopers in 🍻
Buzz baits are so much fun 🤩 can you really have enough of them? Great video
Thank you for watching!
Excellent product presentation on a bait that I just can’t master.
Over time, I may improve. Thank you for your video time.
Casting angles are the most important thing with buzz baits. I'll do an on the water presentation.
@@thehookuptackle_usa , Thank you so much.
Big fan of the jackell firecracker🎣
Me too!
had to replay that john strelic name drop. caught me off guard the first time hahaha

the yamamoto is a sleeper!
Gotta love the buzz!!

Haven't took the O.S.P buzz off my rod yet this year. Flat out catches them, both small and largemouth, even on the same day.
Sick!!
Excellent. Thanks
Great information thanks 👍
Thank you for watching!
Great tips love the channel
Thank you for watching!
I was hoping you would discuss how you fish the buzz bait. Do you reel it fast or slow and under what conditions?
We can do an ok the water breakdown for that 👍
Love the videos! Do you guys throw any plopper style baits if so maybe a video on those soon. Also would you consider whopper plopper style baits buzz baits?
We do throw them. I consider them their own style of bait.
I wished you carried Baksyn buzz bait and spinnerbait!
What rod do you guys recommend for a buzzbait and or river2sea whopper plopper?
I like a rod that is at least 7'3 and has around a mod fast action. I like it to have some tip so that they get ahold of the bait.
Couldn't you also use one of the big Yamamoto grubs? Not that I'm not a big fan of the Ika...I am...but for reasons I don't want to say here. Lol. Think Cover Craw. I'll hang up and listen. 🤣
What about rod reel
7:1 or 8:1 if you're not a spaz. I live on the Megabass P5 MadBull and Killer Code.
@@thehookuptackle_usa ok thanks
ETA on the new Evergreen buzzbaits and swim jigs?
Should be mid July
Magdraft as a buzzbait trailer? Lol, I’ll have to try it

What happened to the Evergreen loudbuzz I think that should be in the top 5 . Great bait and sold out . Stay Safe Tight Lines .
Also a great one!!
WOOT WOOT! Love me some top water Buzz Baitery :)
Thanks fer showin an sharin amigo! #BenForElPresidente #AGriffGonnaGriff
Grif stays flexing on us with the ALL WHITE gear haha
Question is what gear do you throw your normal buzzbaits on?
I finally caught some 2 lb'ers on a Picasso spinnerbait!
Is that jackall gurgle a gimmick?
I don’t get it at all.
Shawn I see you on baitman and hellabass!! I also would like to know more about the gurgle buzz.

Ben looking 8 years younger than from the last couple videos
Shaving is my time warp :)!
never caught a buzzbait bass so i'm not trying to get addicted but I am but i'm not but I am
Weird, where’s the $1 buzzbaits from Walmart? Definitely should have put them in this list, disappointing really
I think you bought them all
I don't feel bad modifying the 1$ buzz. I tie marabou on it, rough the rivet up, skirt is trash.
They last about as long as a 1$ buzz should, couple fish.
19:48 Ben: "We pause for a minute to bring you this special reporting."
19:56 Grif: "Yes."
Hahaha! finally a like # that matters! 👍😂
