Hey Ryan. This is the first time I see one of your videos. I see you and Vic are buddies. Just subscribed. Glad to have people out there who care about the fish they catch and show it on their content. Thanks for the video 👍🏼
Just wanted to drop you a line and tell how impressed I am with the way you handled and released these beautiful beasts. Every fisherman should watch your videos to learn the proper way to release these beauty’s with the respect they deserve. Thank you for this! Just subscribed and i’m really enjoying the content. Keep it coming and God bless.
Awesome content man! Love the way your videos are made! Would be cool if I could meet you and get tight lines this fall! I'll take your pictures with the tarpon too😝
That new Saltiga!! Awesome stuff. Soft plastic and a 1oz jig on the surf. Northeast stuff for us here. Only difference is you got tarpon bro. Jeolous haha.
maybe try a srew in jighead with a stinger? you can also create singles with two wire ends sticking out as a stinger, much les fish shake the hook off that way then on a normal jighead!
Hi Ryan, where about are you fishing? Florida is kind of big, I would guess the gulf side? You don't have to disclose the exact beach but a good hint would be appreciated. Like from Marco Island in the south to Tampa in the north? Thanks!
What pound leader do you use because i try to fish for those things and if i fish too heavy they dont eat but if i use to light i break or get spooled cause of light drag
Thank you, I wrote that comment as I was watching the beginning of the video and saw that you answered all my questions at the end. I love when you guys do that I think it’s such an important bit of information and so many people forget about when they’re making videos. Thanks again great video
Good onya bro...from.victoria australia... it all comes down to feel.. we have big salmon/tailor (bluefish) to 8-10kg here. You could seriously handle that shit with that rig. Love your work xo
Are the baitfish mullet? I’m trying to track where the Mullet are, I hear this is getting near peak season for them. I’m up in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. Thanks!
Small world. Im from the west coast and just went on vacation in cocoa beach i loved it caught some nice reds and had a great time fishing at the port. I would 100% go back
I would not recommend it. Even if you do land the fish it’s not great for them to prolong the fight. A 10k Spheros or Saragosa would be a great investment for beach fishing
Why do all you guys follow the typical TH-cam template. It’s getting boring as hell. It’s like watching different people do the exact same thing and say the same thing trying to make money.
*patiently waiting for 1Axe1Amp to break the mold and find a better way to make Content in this Industry 🙄 wait.....what's that? Oh. You don't have any videos of your own to support your bold statement? I'm sorry, I thought I was chatting with a TH-cam Master, I was hoping you had some proof of content to back yourself up 🤷♂️ I guess you don't like watching people catch fish.
What's up everyone! Who thinks the stache is good luck? 🥸
You should go full beard
Keep the stache for sure
My stache gives me something salty to lick when I’m out at beach fishing!
Hey what's the the specs on that rod
What rods do you used for fishing
I hope they're ready for yesterdays tarpon day! Bigger and better!
Idk if I’m ready to edit an hour long vid of tarpon fights lol
Great day of fishing. I like how you took breaks throughout the day to talk to the camera. It was well timed and not annoying.
Glad you liked the video! I’m trying to be a better story teller as I continue on the TH-cam Journey 🍻
Omg talk about having good times and some really awesome fun!! ❤😀

Good 👍 job Ryan 🎉

Listen to that drag sing. Nice vid!
Thanks man!
Bro I couldn’t look no where else but your mustache,
You look like you could’ve been in that movie Super Trooper 😂😆😂🤙🏼
Awesome alright!
That new Saltiga!! Awesome stuff. Soft plastic and a 1oz jig on the surf. Northeast stuff for us here. Only difference is you got tarpon bro. Jeolous haha.
It was my lucky day 👌🏼
Love the tarpon in the surf videos!!!
Can’t beat em
Nice catch Mr. Freddie Mercury . Let’s go!
lmao! You're the 3rd person to tell me that!
@@RyanMorie oh well… I Guess that is a great complement. I am a Surfcaster and love the hunt for big fish. Great catch.👍
Plz keep going over your gear my dad and I are moving to Florida and we both love when you go over your setups
Nice fish Ryan! Love your rod and reel set up too. Cheers from Canada
Thanks for watching!
Epic Vid Ryan! 🙌
Thanks my dawg 🍻
Nice work ! We share the same passion…
Hey bro! Don't worry 'bout a ting now....cuz every little ting gonna be alright now-ow. 🎶
Wow!!
That was great
Always let us know what .kind of equipment you are useing
maybe try a srew in jighead with a stinger? you can also create singles with two wire ends sticking out as a stinger, much les fish shake the hook off that way then on a normal jighead!
I could watch these tarpon videos for hours
You’re in luck! Got another coming in hot Saturday Morning 🔥
I’m waiting for these mullet to come down to Boca Raton Lfg!!!!
I wanna fish the mullet run this year but I live on the other coast when is the best time to come to the east coast for the mullet run?
Keep up the good content
Will do!
Good man

Thanks!
Epic stuff brother💪🏼
Here for the moustache
I was also wondering if I get the 710 focal if maybe I should get a van staal for it and if so, what size should I get?
Coming down to N. Fort Myers in 2 weeks, do the tarpon/mullet etc.. run like this on the west coast as well this time of year?
Hi Ryan ... a question, what is the name of the decoy you are using? Is it available on Amazon?
What pound leader do you use because i try to fish for those things and if i fish too heavy they dont eat but if i use to light i break or get spooled cause of light drag
80 or 100lb. Murky water like this in the vid you can use 100 all day
@@aidanoneill120 thanks i didnt know they ate that much
Hey man I really want to get a focal 7.10 and I was just wondering what size Shimano Saragosa should I get. 😁
You looking like Chris Lo bro
He loves it! 🤣
u think a 8k gosa would work fine for tarpon off the beach too?
Love the video it was insane. Would u have any suggestions on a good size van staal for snook , tarpon and reds and what size rod to get
Man that fish was bigger than you!
where in FLA?
What size reel, line, and rod weight
Thank you, I wrote that comment as I was watching the beginning of the video and saw that you answered all my questions at the end. I love when you guys do that I think it’s such an important bit of information and so many people forget about when they’re making videos. Thanks again great video
What beach is this?
what beach is this i wanna drive over from the west coast
Do you prefer the daiwa over the Stella, I’mjust getting Into shimano reels have a couple of daiwa but not the big names.
Saltiga SW over Stella SW yes. However it’s not black and white. Check my review videos
Hey, just a quick question from an aspiring TH-cam fisherman. What camera and GoPro do you use for filming? Love your stuff!
GoPro 8 and 6. Film in 2.7k 60fps. Big camera is a Sony a7iii with a 24-105 F4 lens
You should ask ab the editing software too. !!
Final Cut ProX. But everything I do can be done on free software!
Starting to look like Lowe lol
We looked identical back in high school!
Love the channel man! What kind of knot are you using when you use the NLBN swim baits?
An FG to connect the 50lb braid to 100 mono. Then a simple loop knot, not even sure what it’s called, been using it for like 10 years haha
That’s why you don’t use mustads
O'SHAUGHNESSY 4X Strong
Can you do a review on that new Saltiga
I plan on it! I didn't do an unboxing vid, but it will get a full real world review after a few months of abuse.
I love the Daiwa saltiga 2020. What size being used in this video? You get the PG version one?
That’s a 10K in the Hi gear. 5.7:1 I believe
Why rod is this
Good onya bro...from.victoria australia... it all comes down to feel.. we have big salmon/tailor (bluefish) to 8-10kg here. You could seriously handle that shit with that rig. Love your work xo
Thanks for watching! It’s so awesome to me that these vids are watched around the world 🍻
What size saltiga you have I’m trying to buy one but not sure what size to get
10k
didn’t realize that’s a thousand dollar reel
Are the baitfish mullet? I’m trying to track where the Mullet are, I hear this is getting near peak season for them. I’m up in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. Thanks!

@@Marineboy22 jetty park? What did u use
Always love your videos. Are you using the 7'8" or 7'10" Focal rod?
I’m using the 7’10 But I think the 7’8 is a more versatile rod. More of a softer tip
@@RyanMorie awesome thanks for the answer, keep at the videos.
I’m new to the surf fishing world. Do you set your drag loose for a reason?
@Nate Spencer the more you know! Such great info I’m going tomorrow for the first time.
At 2:36 it looks like something surfaced to the right
Will a twin power shimano 5000, handle a fish that size.
I would not recommend it. Even if you do land the fish it’s not great for them to prolong the fight. A 10k Spheros or Saragosa would be a great investment for beach fishing
@@RyanMorie I see you have that daiwa reel. Would a 6000 series be good for inshore fishing reds and black drums.
Dude if you notice...fishing has become the new NBA or NFL...tremendous show my brotha!
Thank you for the support Sir!
what king of the rods?
Fluro or mono?
Mono 👍🏼
Do you like to use sharpener, after a fight?
If I have one yes… Do I usually have one… nope, almost never haha
@@RyanMorie I keep one in my smallest tacklers for alligator gar, much good eatin!
What size high speed Saltiga is that bro? I have the 8h and 20000
10000h
@@RyanMorie cheers, or in Kiwi speak, chur chur
Best fishing youtuber that can actually teach you some things for those like me who live in Jupiter FL
Glad I can be of service!
How much do you think the big one weighed? 80 pounds maybe?
Why didn’t you use the Saragosa 😖😖😣😣
Tooo many reels that I gotta test out lol
2015 saltiga still prettier 🐐
why do you jerk the rod back like ur setting the hook like 6 times? is it to bury the hook?
why not just say battling massive surf fish during the mullet run
You loading sand to it's gills..... When you want to revive a fish, take it in deep clear waters not where the sand is turning.......
please shave that mustage off, you look so much nicer without it!
