The neutral colors are so soothing with pops of color in your accessories. PLUS, your personal time and effort that went into the diptych artwork is heartwarming. What an extra special gift! I live in an apt that doesn’t have pretty windows. They are just plain inset frames with mini blinds set inside the box window frame. Would I still hang Curtains up high like that? I think my windows are ugly exposed like that.
Do a tiny living room or bedroom that doesn't have great bones or great windows. Id love to see what you can do with an average persons smaller living area who doesn't always have these great architectural features necessarily

I didn’t mind the black because it brought in the lounge…I just think the execution was a little amateur, but he is an amateur. A tip for next time I would use one colour then tape up a section, paint, remove tape and then retake for next section to if you’re using straight lines for colour blocking… In saying all of that, in the end it still worked and I think his artist friend loved it.

Absolutely love the furniture and so happy you raised the curtain rods. Please no one yell at me but I don’t care for the art pieces. The wall sconces are so much nicer. The tree adds such a warm feeling to the living room. Beautiful styling in the two rooms.

If the dining table only has 4 chairs you could bring the bench in from the living room and have it on one side as two seats. Then you can seat 6 people

So many sites show the process, but rush through at the end so that you can't enjoy and see the detail of what was done.

I think this is a really beautiful example of how to combine very different styles - couples could use this in trying to compromise their different tastes, as well. You are one kind, talented, and hard working young man.
