I think many of us would love to see the lego 1x1-11x11 series. Your best bet to get a 4x4 and 5x5 will be a fully 3d printed puzzle. There are several free stls for 3d scanner apps for ios/android. Use that to meticulously scan parts for like an mgc 4x4 and 5x5. Resize to the proper size and try a test print at home to fit. I don’t think fdm printing would work well for this project at such a small scale. Resin or sla would probably be your best bet. JLCPCB has pretty good pricing on their resin and sla printing services, I have had success with it in the past (not puzzle related but designs
ALEX!! I’ve been designing and 3d printing some puzzles of my own, none of them are super complex, and most don’t turn that great, but I think I can try to design a mini 5x5 (no promises on turning quality though 😂) Update: mini 5x5 almost done, just need to pick up sone smaller screws because all the ones I currently have are too big, this thing is TINY
hey z3cubing! i love your videos but i have a request. Now you might not remember but about a year ago, you made a video where you ruined a 7x7, and i want you to FIX your 7x7 that you ruined! good luck!
I think for a good 2x2 bandages mod you should add a 2x1 plate on the top, and one on the bottom, preventing F and B moves, while L, R, U, and D moves are still possible.
I bought the tornado v4 and average at about 40 seconds, I know a few OLL and PLL algorithms, but not all of CFOP. How do you recommend I start learning the rest, just dive in right away or start gradually?
Btw for the mini 3x3, if you somehow can convert a 2x2 into a 3x3, you could’ve used the eatsheen 2x2 since it’s the exact right size, but idk if it’s possible tho
Unfortunately the core of the Eastsheen has the 3 centers and 3 edges literally fused into one big piece for its alignment mechanism, so that wouldn't be possible without essentially making your own core.
He thinks the Mefs bandaged cube is the hardest bandage cube. But wait till he sees the puppet cube. There is no cube that demonstrates the inner 3 by 3 of a 2 by 2 better then the puppet cube...
Correction, That isn't "The One Cube" It's the cube lab mini.
Oops, you're right! I guess the fact that it's one centimeter always tricks me into confusing the two. :)
True!

Buy another smallest cube
I loooove how the sandpaper gets the color of the legos as you sand them down
Me too
It's like a coloring book
I just recently saw the 9x9 lego cube video, so amazing timing
Channelling your inner LegoboyZ3
Return of LegoboyZ3?
Now compete with these cubes at a cubing competition! I think the scramblers will be suprised (until they know it's you ofc)😅
Unfortunately, you will get disqualified because apparently “using Mini cubes for intentional slower speeds are not allowed” or something like that
You could 3D print a custom lego rubik's cube for the 4x4 & 5x5
3-D printing seems to have come in clutch once again 🥳
You motivated me to get more cubes when I first started watching you😅😅

You should make an inverted lego cube so you can attach them

Have you ever wondered if you could make a LEGO Barrell? It might not be easy but would you try it out?
finally new video
also CONGRATS FOR 900K SUBS,and the lego extender looks like roblox studs

Yes i love these types of Z3 vids! Cant wait for the big 1 mil Alex!
You could maybe reverse engineer the 40 cm 4x4 into the mini 5x5
Just like what he did with a 2x2 and turn it into a 3x3
He made a 2x2x2x 2bc the lego piece is 2x2
and here i thought they are made of lego, you should put that in your title somehow, i was kinda disappointed
Every Saturday, I see one of your awesome videos getting uploaded. I can’t wait to see what comes tomorrow!
Everyone stop what your doing z3 cubing just posted
Love your vids btw
Combine all of the ideas to make a Maglev Ball-Core Lego 7x7 M Tungsten
Can you release the files for the mini 3x3 extensions?
11:59 I found this 5x5 which is 32 mm.
th-cam.com/video/3EEE__UKssU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CG6JK2pBI1Knmc7O
Awesome! Looks like 3D-printing is definitely the way to go.
I'm sure that we can now hide the 5x5 middlest layer into a 32mm 4x4?
I think for a good 2x2 bandages mod you should add a 2x1 plate on the top, and one on the bottom, preventing F and B moves, while L, R, U, and D moves are still possible.
Wouldn't that just be a 1x1x2 then?
Oh, I just realized my mistake, F and B moves won’t be possible, L moves would be possible, I’ll fix it.
@braydensnonsence50637 so just a R and U solve?
Yeah, oh I just realized how easy this actually is, I’ll make a better one
@braydensnonsence50637 actually the hardest possible bandage mode is the same one he made in the video
these are great! honestly i didnt think it would work with the 2x2 pieces overhanging the centre but well done.
When I saw this I immediately clicked on
Z3 cubing I think you can
3D print extenshens to the
Lego cubes
Do they work?
They do.
You’re so creative in making cube mods
Nice video
Alex is probably the most insane modder the world has ever seen
this is so cool!
This dude sure loves Rubik’s cubes
Pretty cool
Saw 6 minutes after release! Yay!
Also, cool idea.
0:05 that is far from a normal Rubik’s cube (It’s a the 2x2 he turned into a 3x3)
You should try them with plates, like slanted Lego plates, no need to build up on them 😅
Are they comp legal?
On the mini 2x2, put 1 studs on the one studs
Hey I got question about cubes that I brought, is GAN 356 R S without magnet thing good cube that cost 17.99 dollars???
Perfect mods. I'm inspired to make some for myself too.
I bought the tornado v4 and average at about 40 seconds, I know a few OLL and PLL algorithms, but not all of CFOP. How do you recommend I start learning the rest, just dive in right away or start gradually?
learn all cfop you will get better
Your videos are the best
Now Make A Mini 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, And 8x8 Lego Cubes!
Scrambled the Lego 2x2, cover the entire thing in 2x2 plates and try to solve it :3
It will be a 1x1 if you do that
yj sells mini big cubes i think they are the right size
teeny tiny lego cubes i see
Sup bro
Couldn't you just use an 8x8 to build a LEGO® 5x5 by gluing the 6 inner layers together to make 3 wider inner layers?
lego cube collection from the legendary legoboyz3
for the mini 3x3, why dont you use the gan 328?
It's slightly too big (we need 24mm)
Z3 cubing can you please tell me why M moves away from the solved state counted as a DNF not an +2?
It's just because the WCA's metric for what counts as one "turn" only includes outer layer moves, so M counts as 2 moves.
Ok thanks that helps me a lot
I know you are busy but I am glad that you replied to my doubt.(I am going to my second competition of December 20 2024🎉🎉🎉)

Hi
insert Lego Island's song, Brick By Brick, here over the mini Lego cube montage
I think you upload a video every Saturday or something
yo for the worst case you can just print the cubes but i guess that isnt really an option beacuse i can see it you want it to be normal cubes

0:50 in fact, you need an 80mm 5x5 to make 1
Can u please solve my 9x9 Rubix cube
Just know how to solve a 4x4 and a 5x5 can help
Am i the only one who thinks that in the mini 1x1 rubix cube sees the normal 1x1 rubix cube as 2x2
