    I have always had a soft corner for Motorola. My first proper smartphone was Moto E. Few years later I even got the Moto X Play. But my experince as a consumer of Motorola has always been let a down because of it's after sales services. At first, I thought that shortage of spare parts or screens were a problem because I was living in a small town. But I have shifted to multiple cities since then. Yet, whenever I had a problem with a motorola phone. It was always a frustrating experince in the Service Centres. Be it Kolkata, Khargar or even Bhubaneshwar. Whenever I had to visit a Service Centre for any issue, Lenovo Service Centers never ever had parts or a quick solution. As a result, I shifted away from Motorola. I love their phones and the stock android experience but God forbid if anything goes wrong with your device...

    This looks promising. Will wait for your in-depth review for this device to make a decision.
    I have three questions though, and I'd be grateful if you include the answers in you full review:
    1. Does this device has Gorilla Glass protection ?
    2. Does Dual Nano Sim + eSim mean 3 sim cards can be used on this at the same time ?
    3. If we use GCam on this, will the photos come out even better ?
    Love your videos. Take care Sir.

    • @RajR2000

      I can answer your second question... You can only use 2 sim cards. 1 physical and 2nd eSim.

    • @siddhartha900
      @siddhartha900 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RajR2000 Thank you for the answer. So, is that a Hybrid slot ? 1 physical sim, 2nd eSim and an SD card ? Or is it just 2 nano sims or 1 pSim + 1 eSim with a blank slot ?

    • @RajR2000
      @RajR2000 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@siddhartha900 2 nano sim cards. Primary sim is physical and secondary sim card is an eSim.
      Sadly it doesn't have an expandable memory slot.

    The only thing that I am worried about is the Mediatek processor. It will be great if you could find some time and do a comparison of a comparison of Mediatek & Snapdragon processors. Have Mediatek Dimensity processors evolved enough to compete with Snapdragon (specially in terms of GPU performance) ?

    Saw Ranjit with a big smile on his face during entire unboxing after many months.
    Glad moto has made such a device, currently am using moto edge 30 and yes if I upgrade after a year it may be worth the price, however I shall wait for edge 50 or 60 before making a choice.
    Only major con I noticed is curved glass, which makes availability of tempered glass rare, love the plastic back unlike others who force glass back, as glass is glass and it will break and am not fond of glass back and my primary reason for not upgrading from iphone 7 plus which I am using for more than 6 years now to another iPhone and moto edge having plastic back was one of the driving factors before making the edge 30 purchase.
    Just a quick question and would be happy if you can incultate the same in future videos, does this phone support 4K viewing on ott, as many phones do come with FH+ screen and under TH-cam you get the option of 2k, however the terminology is unclear and also HDR support on ott apps such as prime video, Netflix and hotstar (other apps are crap in terms of video output).
    Pro's : superb build
    Flagship level features
    Ip68 rating
    68 watt fast charging and reverse charging
    Android 13 out of the box with stock rom
    E-sim
    Finally 256 GB rom support in India
    All 5G bands
    Cons: curved glass (hard to handle especially when it drops or when you flip on hard surface with the phone in pocket)
    P-oled - though considered as amoled, it is not that great in terms of colour output
    Mediatek processor, I have a preference for snapdragon as they tend to be better than other processors.
    Dolby vision support (poco and other such brands offer atmos and vision support at 25k priced phone)
    Slim phone, however the battery capacity is lower than edge 30 which comes with 4800 mAh capacity
    Optimization required in terms of OS, wherein when titled the device at times shows a black screen on the bottom half and takes a second or two before moving to landscape mode (saw the same happening during the video as well).
    I do understand the cons are the one's which are bit too harsh considering overall pricing and features, however it is what it is.
    Overall a great phone and an upgrade if someone switches from Android 2-3 year old device.
    If not, wait for moto edge 50, which will surely have much great features, as currently Android 13 is not that great and not worth upgrading just for a newer Android version and few personalisation options.
