Surefire has lights ranging from $30-300+, so idk why you think that’s way off base? If this one is too much for you, there are others that are cheaper. Plenty of other brands too. The Stiletto pro is well worth the money in my opinion. 👍🏼

I carry a 38 SPL and round speed loaders. Same I want a knife that I can use for utility and sometimes it's the same one that I use for a backup self-defense weapon I always carry multi-tool as well and various other items I always have sunglasses. I3T EOS O'light, o'pen2 and a custom utility pocketknife/multi tool and the Gerber multiplayer mp 600
Always nice to see someone carry a J-frame. I carried one for probably a decade with few exceptions. Although I seldom carry a revolver these days, I still think the J-frame is often a sensible and effective choice. Also, I really like that fixed blade. Looks very "slicey."
I started to use a fixed blade for self defense, and a utility knife that looks more like a tool, that you can pull anywhere and people will be ok(if that makes sense). I really like that concept
I am also a Machinist, i run a Cincinati U5. Have you tried the Streamlight Wedge? I like it as a nice EDC light. You gave me some nice ideas for some new gear!

2 questions - how much does all of that weigh and how often do you use, let's just say, the vast majority of those items ? I am a hiker/camper - so I am all about light weight (I wouldn't say UL) and functionality.
I'm not sure the exact weight but I could take a measurement In a future video! The light, notebook/pen and Leatherman (obviously keys and wallet as well) get used every single day especially when I'm at work. The gun/defensive blade/medical I hope I never ever have to use but I'd rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. I actually have used the medical kit before when one of my coworkers was injured.
I have a full trauma kit in my car and I keep a more extensive med kit in a fanny pack that is always within arms reach when I’m out. Tourniquets, chest seals, more gauze, compression bandages, etc. In terms of carrying spare ammo for someone else, there’s way too much ammunition/magazine variety to anticipate what a random stranger might need. I do sometimes carry a spare gun for friends/family that may be with me in something like an active shooter situation though.
