Way back before, I used to copy the wolf's smallest base to the point that I memorized all of his castles to finish all the missions even if my economy suffers but I still managed to win

I had no idea his base was that good dang. Even works on missions like misty river?
I used his base but I used my own set of troops as my disposal
I created a version of castle based on marshalls design just improved with better defense

Because of more silenter voice of the rat, and loud sounds of his armor, I though that someone is cooking at the background XD
I once played as the Abbot. But I could design the castle & use as many buildings as I wanted, as long as it was the ones he used. I also once played the Crusader levels from top to bottom in the “Stronghold military campaign” style. Meaning that I started out with few building types and weak units. But “unlocked” better stuff as I went down the levels.
I would like to see this done with being like Philip and Nizar

Is this using any of the adjusted AI system from the UCP? If yes which one specifically? Great attempt tho, don't want to imagine the amount restarts, and the annoyance from nonstop Rat voicelines 😂
UCP is installed but it's vanilla AI!

if it's possible, would be cool, if you will add voiced notice\comments of play, what are you planning to do, what are you doing, etc, by your announcer. (and check pls sound levels of game and voice at the beginning)

I would love to see the no ranged units challenge back! I got inspired and started to play the game again. Currently at mission 32!

(I made all missions without market, it was little bit tough, also extreme without the help bar)
back in the day me and my friends had a lanparty we were always 4 at a friends house and playing wc3 and stronghold crusader and one time we decided to all play like the rat against each other copy building style etc. it was glorious
Since it's a Stronghold 2 OST, I haven't heard it before, sounds like "Under an Old Tree". I really like it!
Little question, how come is it every time I watch any video where you fight against a AI lord who wears armor, the armor sound effects are *so* loud compared to all the other audio? like its louder than their voices and sometimes all the oother game audio. It's *very* noticable here especially. Mainly whenever the Rat is panicking and the *agrressive sound of clanking.*
It's a bug with the steam version of the game
Yeah the sound from "minimap videos" are not scaled with the rest of the game!
Only a few of them use sound though, workshops are loud too

I think you should go early for spearmen. They are good for dealing with straglers who reach the wall.
Well, I came to the opposite conclusion (I was making 3 poleturners early before this)
Melee units seem to suck when you're outnumbered, usually ranged units picking off many units without dying is the reason why these challenges are doable! There are ways to efficiently use melee units but it gets really hard when all 7 rats are flooding you with spearmen!
i have done something similar but instead of limiting my buildings i would just limit what i could make instead of how much, almost like a "if this character actually tried with its setup", its fun doing this as the snake and making his S shaped snake base for yourself or when trying to make the wolfs triangle base with the 4 towers up front and 4 to the sides

Well, one thing that was not entirely Rat-like was that he never builds more than one tower. But still, great video! I really like the concept.

I did sth like that quest with all lords. I build exactly same buildings as other lords with same towers etc. Rat is so easy. The most difficult were Snakes
Next Challenge. Defeating 7 sultans while playing as the sultan.
Then all trees goes *poof* 😅
this feels like playing hoi4 with max diffucilty
It'd be pretty cool to see a "Beat 7 Snakes Playing as the Snake" video. See if Laddermen can finally be good!
I think other version is this game is necessary to come not change in any thing but Change or increase levels also change only the strategies of lords

Well after this i tried beating my rat like this. Doesn't work. Though I adjusted rat myself, he's still the second weakest (beats sultan below 40k start gold) but i cant even beat 6 of them without basicly moat/wall cheating (i just find to have fire thrower chokepoints in single liner walls is just cheating against the AI and such). 5 is a struggle workable but bloody hell naaahh 7
