And a tiny bit on the fact the woodcutters actually fight back with their axes. If nothing else, that allowed the lord to get to the horse archers, while they couldn't use their bows on the helpless population during their melee with the woodcutters.
Because caliph is code word for three wolves, you see, if you flip the first letter of caliph sideways and add a straight line in the middle it looks like a w, if you look at the top of the w it looks like three spears, now spears are scary just like the wolf and along with w = wolf this means that caliph = three wolves

By the way, you're using ucp, did you think about using the healer building for early game? Should be really strong for the few troops you've got + it can heal the lord too!
The last castle can be beaten by a mixture of pikemen, crossbowmen, siege towers and macemen. You can also use a couple of pikemen strategically just behind enemy walls, where the towers have been destroyed, to make an entrypoint for your army, but it's better to 1. Make the inner walls accessible to siege towers by knocking down a part of the outer walls and shoveling the moat with pikemen 2. Roll to the inner walls with siege towers and crossbowmen, so that the rest of the pikemen and the crossbows can work together to occupy the towers and eliminate the bigger chunk of the standing army 3. Finish the lord and the remaining army with some macemen
Was really cool to see, how you turned this around :D Also short quesstion: Would you be so kind and put the text at the top of the screen while playing the game? At the bottom it just gets swallowed by the bad contrast from the colorful UI. Thx :)
I am getting curious but, couldn´t you just use in first few months, few hunting huts , get passive archers that you can circle around, and woodcutters as passive melle fighters ? :D Otherwise Wau nice gameplay man, subscribing, thumbs up .
You should really make a few wall patches, just 20 blocks in a few places, so they'll attack that instead with the catapults, it's a lifesaver so you don't constantly have to repair (AI attacks the nearest built thing to you)
There is a good trick to get 75 popularity instantly buy recruiting a unit when on 4 population. When drop bellow 4 you jump to 75. So you dont have to buy food or giving bribe
the AI units just chasing the lord around instead of killing your crossbowmen feels so silly. basically AI abuse. I want to see a win where the lord doesnt leave the keep !
This doesn't seem right. When the ai gets 40k gold they will attack within the first couple minutes. They become insanely aggressive but these wolves took ages to attack you. I feel like their ai bugged out in some way because this does not seem right.

Dude how about Abbot, Richard, and Emir with no starter goods, troops and Gold. Can make it please? Owh anyway i'm also give you advice, if you're playing Stronghold Crusader with UCP you should build apothecary for healing yours troops and Lords too, because training and replacing dead troops is more expensive than healing your survived troops
no they don't, they each take 3 arrows to kill and you can get like 6-7 for each horse archer, and since the AI doesn't manage its raid horse archers properly, they run straight at you and won't be able to get more than like 3 arrows off before running into your slingers
He didn’t use shields for his first three attacks so his horse archers took heavy casualties, and in his third attack his entire army was wiped out. Also his melee units were not armored so he probably lost a bit of those as well
In the long term, quarry comes above the iron mine due to the fact that ox carts can take a good portion of stone per run to the stockpile compared to the 1.5 normal rate of iron mine, adding negative fear factor further boosts the effectiveness of quarry economy, and makes it incredibly reliable as a gold source. At the end of the day though, who cares which is better when you can just combine both and get a stronger economy through that.

I would also use dairy farms and leather tanners more early on, no stockpile source resource for free gold and saving on crossbowmen.

But you would have to delete them for the 20 Stone
