The way i see it is different : 1. Ages 0-25: Education (acquisition of knowledge & learn how to think) while simultaneously having basic physical/mental safety/health needs met; 2. Ages 25-50: Know what you truly are-what you really deeply want-and how to be/express that (what deepak calls « prepare to die « ); 3. Ages 50-75: Productivity (what deepak calls « fame & fortune « ); 4. Ages 75-100: Teaching/Mentoring/Counselling (what deepak calls « giving back »). It doesn’t make much sense to me to wait until the last 25 years to know what you really are and how to live.

Went to your retreat @ Stone Mountain many years ago, Dr Chopra. Tried speaking with you but you were very short with me and not very nice. I should probably let that go lol but it’s always stuck with me b/c of how much I looked up to and respected you up to that point.

Are you open to asking yourself a few questions to explore your comment?
Because you said 'I should probably let that go...'', hopefully these questions can help you move towards an answer and an action that end in more of your well-being.
      Questions:
      1. "Who holds the meaning of that interaction?"
      2. "What is your intention on asking this question in a public forum? For Dr. Chopra to actually see this question, for yourself, or for others?"
      3. "Does the value you've gotten from his particular 'point of view' diminish because of that interaction?"
      4. "What if he holds worst values than what you experienced in that moment?"
      5. "Was that moment 'permanent (always how he is)', 'personal (specific to you)', and 'pervasive (in all his interactions)'?
These questions may be too serious, and I see you have a lighthearted 'lol' in there, however, as we are the Universe experiencing Itself, they also got me thinking. Thanks for your comment Abelt1d. And if you really want to see some nuance, watch the documentary Dr. Chopra's son produced about him.
Wishing you all the best on this journey my friend.

@@MAureliusHiggs I’ve seen the documentary. When I lived in NYC I went to a screening of it. I guess I put it out here on TH-cam hoping he would see it because he made me feel pretty crappy in those moments where we had a chance to connect and he was very impersonal. Ppl remember how you make them feel not so much what they say. I still respect Deepak and his journey. I think I’m just trying to move on still because of how much hope I had to connect with him. Thanks. Maybe I shouldn’t have aired out my grievance here but on one hand I want people to know who may also have hopes of meeting him sometime.

Thanks for your willingness to reflect on the questions, and for your response@@Abellt1d.
Did he make you feel crappy, or your experience a crappy feeling based on your expectation from the situation?
Some say we shouldn't meet our heroes. I think, in meeting our 'heroes' we realize- they're merely simple people, just as we are, trying to make the world better as best they know how.
(believe me, I write these words for myself. thanks for helping me realize them.)

@@Abellt1d i feel your emotions. i too have felt i couldn't hold him long enough when i hugged him in Amsterdam on one of his visits. Looking at the long queue where others were also waiting in anticipation i realized here's a man everyone wants to grab a piece of. That made me realize that i have had more than my share. You know, in the deeper reality we are all created by our projections. So if you put enough love on a stone, that stone would be Ra for you! Peace 🙏🏽

AI artificial intelligence is dual . It can make and also break things , possibly the end of times for all humans . Maybe , maybe not . Tricky for surre . The more power you give to AI robots , the more dangerous for us humans ...
