This is such a sane perspective on sexuality. I try too much to supress it, and it inevitably backfires. Bringing awareness to the urge and the act seems worth trying. Guilt and shame certainly don't work. They just add fuel to the fire.

@@mavis3916 Bahahaha he is contradicting himself, the job you do can be inspired by your subconscious and brand new ideas, a genius level intellect is what humanity truly is, to think in polarity terms is so petty and small. New ideas from people inspired them to create medicine, engineering, electricity, computers, cars, houses etc. Yes/no, black and white, +- are nothing but choices. Life is not about choice only, there is something in between which is far more valuable, life is colorful in it's aspect. Tolle has problems in it's speech, he's hesitant when he takes pauses between sentences. If he killed his ego then he's made a mistake he has to live with for the rest of his life, ego is there for a reason and each person learns from it, we're not animals stuck between chaos and harmony, we are much much more different. But i am willing to bet that right now Tolle has the biggest ego the world has ever seen and that is a volatile combination that is dangerous for people that are gullible enough to believe in his speeches.

@@mavis3916 Learn to breathe CO2, we are carbon based life forms that have been duped into believing we need Oxygen to survive. Just look at plants, CO2 is what these plants need in order for them to connect to the Source which is our Sun. Tolle won't tell you the whole truth because he doesn't know it. Powerful forces are at play, aliens that have manipulated mankind for thousands of years, not only through education but through different systems of beliefs as well. Humans have been genetically altered in order to develop into multiple nations, then languages were given to us by these ET's that want only to exploit Earth and it's resources, weather they're reptilians or the greys i do not know, but i do sense something is out there that's watching humanity and it ain't friendly. How do you explain that our saints have halos that resemble the Sun behind their heads, that isn't a coincidence my friend, it's what has remained of the truth we once knew. By breathing CO2 we learn to absorb light directly from the Sun, this is our true purpose for which we were born, this is the only way to transcend death itself and be connected permanently with the afterlife, then learn to make a wiser choice in your next life on Earth, find a family that's truly enlightened by the Sun's divine power.

@@easytriops5951 My point is that consciousness is a lie and what Eckhart is promoting is nothing but a lie twisted to appear as truth. I would advise anyone with no mind to stay away from so called gurus and spiritual teachers. They don't know anything about truth and only speculate about it to appear as special and chosen to share their own ignorance. The ego isn't to be avoided, it's there because it represents the no mind, the darkness is not evil, on the contrary, it is misunderstood. We sleep better in the night, in the day we are dreaming fumbling in the way of speculating about the unknown, yet we already know about the truth, there is no need to speculate and create a whole plethora of so called teachings. The ones that are acknowledging the truth never feel the need to share it. I am already a master, but a master on my own, selfish and i never feel the need to open up the subject of enlightenment which is in itself a lie.

@@blucat4 A few years ago I found a funny man yelling at "fattys" on TH-cam and talking about the "snake diet".
He spoke about a concoction he called "snake juice" i saw another man on TH-cam call it "keto water".
I have recently been fasting during Ramadan and have shown myself I can fast.
I decided to find the funny man on TH-cam again, I then made the "snake juice".
I did 43 hours Sunday- Monday then I was going to 48 hours.
However last night I did eat a few dates and a little bit of brocoli and carrots and had a few grapes.
There is a diet from the guy that did 5:2. Doing the "800 fast" diet it is called.m that.
So the calories I had last night was way under that. So technically I haven't wronged.
I haven't eaten today but I am drinking the snake juice.
Yesterday and Monday I didn't drink the snake juice until about 8:30. Monday i was waiting for the ingredients and yesterday the taste put me off it. I added a bit extra water to it and it tastes so much better. Really does feel like you're drinking milk.
I find not eating at all helps me rather than thinking what shall I eat? Trying to plan healthy meals then slipping up.
Not eating means not thinking about food.
      Focusing on not eating. FASTING!!
When you do break the fast for a meal before fasting again, make it low carb and plenty of vegetables. I have actually been having a bit of fruit with my meals too. After 2 or 3 weeks I may add in some porridge every other day too. But my focus is FASTING!!
Not losing weight. Not "what shall I eat?" Or "what can I eat?" But FASTING!!
The snake juice really helps with the fasting. Water fasts make you wash away the electrolytes.
Learnt that from the funny crazy man on TH-cam.
I think his name is Cole Robinson 🤔
He starts each video "hey fatty!" 🤣🤣😂😂 Shakes you up and gets you listening 🤣😂😁
Well done on 7 days fasting 👏 👍 😁 the most I have done is 48 hours.
8 weeks on juice is impressive too!!
You probably know all about diets and insulin spiking making you hungry and eating making you hungry! I find fasting is being amazing for me at the moment.
I am enjoying it a lot.
I feel a bit brain foggy but once my body gets used to the change, I will feel much better.
I am so determined to be so careful with what I put in my body now but I am also determined to as much fasting as possible 😁💖

Very good talk. I would complement it by saying that awareness is powerful cause it gives you more choice on how you want to act. When we indulge in our physical pleasures with awareness, we have more choice on how we would like to experience things, whereas when we indulge them unconsciously and compulsively, we're letting our physical impulses dominate us. Most of all, whoever is fighting against any impulsive behavior, please, look for a therapist, and understand the underlying emotional need that is driving you towards impulse and addiction. Sometimes we're numbing ourselves cause we don't know how to deal with our fear, anger, sadness and all that stuff. Find ways to soothe yourself and cultivate positive and fulfilling relationships so you can endure hard times without falling into such traps. That's what I'm doing, I've sought help and it's definitely made a difference. Every day I learn a bit more.

    • @burnalog7861
      @burnalog7861 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

If you go deeper you realize that choice, or free will, is an illusion. Every new event has a billion reasons. Just watch it unfolding effortlessly and keep the "I" out of it. Tune into the flow and let the flow take you and everything is suddenly perfect as it's the only way, there is no alternative to whatever is. If you fully understand that you simply accept that and no decision making is needed. Finally you are home and peace is all there is.

I went last week to a Vipassana retreat where we practiced mindfulness 24/7 and it blew my mind!! I always thought I was mindful, but as it seemed there were so many moments during the day in which I was in full autopilot mode, trapped in the tornado of urges, thoughts, and mind.
I started to make small baby steps with bringing consciousness to my daily activities. It still feels new and challenging, but only because I haven't practiced it this consciously before. It really was a life-changing experience.

I like this definition of Tantra as taking something that usually brings you into unconsciousness and using it in the opposite way, to bring awareness to it and raise your consciousness. Interestingly, I have found myself sometimes using practices that "should actually bring me into consciousness" in the opposite way to numb myself down (e.g. physical yoga asanas, meditation) - one might say I didn't "do it right" then, there is truth in that I guess. For me it shows that ANYTHING can be used in both ways, either to raise consciousness and awareness or to distract and numb down - may it be something usually considered spiritual or trivial.I believe this is about conscious intention.
    Thank you for the video!

I am not in a position to give advice, but I can say what I have learned about tantra from the practice and advice of some tantric masters.
Tantra has nothing to do with this western definition. Tantra is the method or technique in translation. It refers to certain methods of worshiping some devas, for example Dasa Mahavidya, or Kalachakra tantra in Buddhism.
In Vijnana Bhairava Tantra there are some techniques similar to the method suggested by Eckhart. He intuited this through personal experience, but the ultimate goal in tantra is unification with the devas you worship. The great tantric masters became one with the god/goddess who was a certain aspect of Visnu or Shiva.
In the presence of such people there are enormous energies, if it is sensitive you feel overwhelmed and often it also awakens in you great potential energies or purifies energy channels. This only by mere presence, purifies places, people and animals.
I was lucky enough to meet two tantric masters, luckily there are such people. Look for someone authorized who can initiate you into tantra and practice what he tells you.
Tantric practice transforms the person beyond their mental understanding. For this reason, it is little understood and practiced in the West, because the Western man always wants to understand and conceptualize. But the mind will never be able to understand. How God works is beyond our mental understanding. Otherwise, they talk and talk and regardless of the words used, Western society is still materialistic and aggressive.
On the other hand, in the east man is simpler and listen to his master with humility. Thus he transcends the trap of remaining in concepts and ideologies.
I'm not in a position to teach anyone, I'm only saying what I know for sure works, proven by my limited experience but also by the experience of others.

This was when he was well into his 60s and the woman were in their 30s. But anyway, he taught this as part of his teaching.

Yes, I strongly believe in the practice of Taoism and Tantra. It can bring on altered states and be extremely healing. Actually he doesn't know a lot about it. It's very good for both male and female. They still know very little about the female ejaculation. This releases so much pent up emotion-its very healing. It stirs the emotions and can bring one to tears, also for emotional release. Circulating energies with the use of what's known as the Microcosmic Orbit meditation is central to this practice.

She is not coming from a space of love or spiritual wisdom from what I can see. I glanced through her site a year or so ago, hoping she might have grown and evolved, but I see she’s still pushing a very limited view of sexuality and spirituality (and beauty). I appreciate her aesthetic sense, and I’m glad she’s guiding people toward sacred sexuality, but she seems to be missing the core of it all, which is love and acceptance. I wish she could get below the surface level and really release into the full beauty of limitless being.

    • @ngreat4390
      @ngreat4390 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Yes, that seems to be the way to express it ...a pulling in to the unconscious.
The Apostle Paul says we have the power to arrest and take every thought captive and cast down imagination exalting itself against the knowledge of God.
Sounds all theological until you pop it with the needle of consciousness.
Simply put, if it's trying to entice you away from awareness to another place in time where pleasure may be had then you need to arrest it and bring it under subjection to awareness within.

You are energy, and energy cannot be created or destroyed. Energy just changes form.

Last night in my dream I was compulsively eating and I felt the craving in control of me. I had just lost 45 pounds over only a few months and have continued to have cravings. Then, this morning this video randomly appeared. These algorithms are really good. 😁

5:40 wow okay this sounds like it may be applicable to suicidal thoughts as I know them. The way he describes 'being unconscious' in the face of whichever impulse draws you in, just being with it without engaging in it to take its force. Makes a lot of sense to me.

just slow down. That's the trick. Slow down. Become watchful of the process. It'll drop. Whatever the impulsive action be.

I search many books. I believe Eckhart was referring to: Eat to Love by Jenna Hollenstein. It seems to be inline with what he was talking about.

I figured throughout this video that I am already doing it, I just was never aware of it. I wasn‘t aware of being aware 😄 The key takeaway from this video for me is the awareness of awareness and as all understanding of spirituality implies, letting states, actions and objects in the world and of the mind, and in this case, urges, come and and go naturally like the ebb and flow of life, like Wu Wei; Not forcing, and letting be.
