    This is exactly what I want to do with my GX, thanks for the video!

    just did this and I like it. One thing I suggest to everyone is to use Locktite on the fog light nuts that adjust it up/down. I tightened it down snug, but after driving around....the nuts came off the bolts and sitting somewhere in fog housing.

    Just got a GX and I'm looking to eo something clean like you showed. Great video. Have you had any issues with the lights overheating in the sealed housing?

  • @tvhelcap6122

    Hello! Great idea, but you didn't show the main thing: how it works in fog or at night.

    Looks amazing. How is it during foggy and raining nights? Does it actually help out? I been debating about doing the same but don't want to do it if it doesn't help. If you can make another video and pin a link on the comment. It would be great!

      The lights act more as flood light because of how bright they are. If you wanted some specially for fog then I’d go for the name brand.

    This may be a dumb question but do you think it'd work as well if you had put the yellow tint on the pod itself and not on the actual fog light? I have the dark blue GX and would rather keep the fog light clear.

    Can you just change the bulb for an LED bulb for the same result in brightness?

    • @revolvinggarage5425
      @revolvinggarage5425  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve never seen a bulb produce the same output. But could be worth a shot sure

    What yellow tint did you use? Can you share that link if possible? Thanks!

    You could have just taken off the hardware and put the unit in an oven at 200F for 10 minutes and just popped off the front clear plastic as the glue would be soft. Then you would not have had to cut the back off! 🤦🏻‍♂🤦🏻‍♂

    What tint did you use for the yellow? I like the color of it

      @@revolvinggarage5425 did you put in the hack so that those lights stay on with your brights enabled?

  • @mcodyw
    @mcodyw ปีที่แล้ว +1

    How do you keep the fog light on when you turn the brights on?

    • @revolvinggarage5425
      @revolvinggarage5425  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There’s a hack you can do with a relay under the hood. Give it a search on a GXOR forum

    Awesome walkthrough. Did you just use 16 AWG spade/fork connectors? Will a 12 AWG fit?

    • @revolvinggarage5425

      I’m honestly not sure of the name. I just used what I had on hand.

      @@revolvinggarage5425 my bad, I’m referring to the gauge of the connectors you’re using.
