- tldr; uninstall the BASE GAME ONLY, then reinstall ONLY the base game (u can leave the content packs installed) and do not click to reinstall campaign mp or zombies or dead ops they will reinstall anyway but if you click on them to reinstall then the download will turn into a smaller 75 gb instead of the 115gb and im pretty sure you need it to be that 115 gb download for it to work
I found a new way without having to uninstall and reinstall everything
All you have to do is sign out of all your accounts and start the game up and when u choose a account it should start up fine

If it’s still saying that then just sign in to cod sign out switch profiles sign in with the new account and then sign out then resign in with you’re first account

@@kristko what he meant was you just open the game, then sign out of your profile. It will then send you to home a d say you need to sign in to the profile you bought the game with blah blah blah... Then open the game again and sign in and should work. Let me know how it goes cause this is a really weird issue.

Click start on game, click manage game, then check off multiplayer, zombies, dead opps, and campaign. Keep all the packs and only the base game which will be at the very top. For whatever reason, the base game already has multiplayer, so when you download the other multiplayer, it causes the whole game to crash. Thank me later.

Try putting your console offline and also make it your home xbox then start coldwar play some multiplayer local and go to settings and connect to your wifi. Go back to your game finish it and go back till the game tittle and put go online that should surpass the connecting to online services.

If you own the game but it won’t load in or say you have to purchase make sure you have nun of the free access passes installed, for some reason it makes the system think you don’t own the game
So if I delete the free acces while the game is installed, will I be able to play it or have to download it again

If anyone’s having a similar problem to mine. I don’t download it all the Contant tried to start the game. He told me to click a that it brings me to a screen that says multiplayer campaign dead ops with an option to purchase or go back I click it goes back to the original screen.

Just unistalled all cold war add ons and installed cold war on the menu it said 1.1 gig i hit install anf its 115.41 gigs so hopefully it works 4 u 2

Oh i think it needs you to sign in with an call of duty account, if you've played the other call of dutys that came out since the mw reboot then you should be able to use that, if not then just make an account and use it and then you can use that across these recent games and across systems

Correct, i left the 4 modes uninstalled and only did the base game and when it finished those modes were installed anyway, So i think if you click and make them install as their own separate downloads then it fucks up, but if you just do the base game then i guess those are just automatically in that download cause for me that's what worked

Your method worked perfectly. You should go work for activision because they are clueless. There must be a corrupt file in those other files that you do not check off to reinstall

If this dosent work just reset Xbox but keep game and app data (you keep all your games) and do what the Xbox tells you, then just login and boom. Should work

Mine instantly stops installing every time I try to download the game. I found this video AFTER you said to just delete the base game. I already deleted the game and all the addons.
