- I’m so happy I finally got my hands on The Ordinary Serum Foundation. The formula is amazing and I love the coverage. While I was editing this, I realized it does oxidize, so just keep that in mind.
Colors tested:
3.1 Y
3.0 R - This is what I went with.
3.0 Y
Final makeup worn:
Clinique Beyond Perfecting Super Concealer in Deep 24 (LOVE this concealer!)
Tarteist Metallic Eyeshadow in Exposed goo.gl/LSsz8d
Tom Ford Sheer Highlighting Duo in Reflect Gilt goo.gl/OIHhfa (I used the darker shade as a glowy blush)
Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara goo.gl/92f4Is
Glossier Boy Brow in Black (I’m a Glossier Rep, so you can shop with me using this link to get 20% off your first purchase - glossier.com/r...)

As always, thanks so much for watching!
3.1Y is SO your shade ❤️
Yeah the color she used has a yellow under tone
You can probably mix the 3.1y and 3.0r then you should have a perfect 👌🏽 match for the entire face.
+Byond_ Beauty oh yeah, I'll try that 😊 I feel like I'm always between shades smh
You don’t need a foundation at all literally. But the foundation looks amazing.
Aw thank you! I still love applying foundation lol 🤷🏾♀️
You remind me a lot of Tamira Jarrell. Your aesthetic & style are both very chic & kind of minimalistic ❤️
+Dominique M ooh thank you. I love her!
Your skin is amazing
+dkcmusic thank you!!
Thank God you did this because I’ve been trynna figure out which shade is for me, I’m about the same colour as you so this was a great reference
Glad it was helpful!
I was thinking of getting 3.0r but I think it will be too light for me but 3.1y seems too orange
I feel you! I actually end up mixing the two shades. Even though it’s not ideal to have to mix shades, since they’re pretty affordable and the texture is so nice, I don’t mind too much.
Thank you sooo much for posting this video! I think we have similar skin tones and that I would get the 301Y and 300R to mix. I usually am so anti-mixing because I hate having to buy two shades of something, but when it's < $10 then it doesn't matter as much.
+Five Product Face yeah I think mixing is best for these two though I'm with you it is annoying to have to do that sometimes. As I've been trying more foundations lately, I think I am more "neutral" than warm or cool but most foundations don't offer neutral tones for darker shades.
Great review, I must try this, I did a review on the photography foundation, it's a transparent foundation and I love it. New subscriber btw ❤️❤️ xo
I'm around Mac nc43-nc44 and 3.0y is slightly light when I apply it but it oxidizes to the perfect shade.
+Dominique M it's funny bc when I was applying it I didn't realize how much it oxidized until I went to edit the video! It scared me at first but it worked out in the end thankfully 😅
Dominique I’m NC 45
So you’re saying I’m prolly 3.1
Gorgeous! 😍
+Rashna Maya thanks! 😘
Looks to light
