    You can use the bottom of those cameras to scratch build electronic modules for different things. Just cut them off and paint as needed

    Hmmmmm…..I’ve got a baggie full of those cameras somewhere. Never thought to save the antenna though. 🤔
    And now I use the base of the camera as an ignition box !

    Simple solution about the magazine. With all the people that was involved with Scale Auto magazine. Start up a new magazine. I'd definitely subscribe and purchase it. If it wasn't for the magazines, I would of never been introduced to the cottage and aftermarket industries. A HUGE asset to our hobby. I've been building model's for over 45 years now. I started with snap kits when I was four years old. It helps me remember my uncle that introduced me to them back then that passed away. I always went over his house on Friday after school with my new model kit and sat down with him and built them . His favorite kits were the police cars and Nova and Camaro kits back then. I must've built 3 or 4 of the AMT 72 Nova kits back then. The one that was molded in white. Great memories of my childhood. I enjoy your videos and inspiration you give us all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years my friend.

      There is a Magazine that's already doing it like the old SAE. It's called Model Cars Magazine. Check it out. It's awesome.

    The Goodwrench kit instructions DO show the camera placement in step 15 at time stamp 16:42 you can clearly see the camera. But of course no Part 55 placement

    Bathurst looks so different. If there was never any in car cameras back then we wouldn't have gotten Cale Yarborough making his own engine noises as he ran around the track. I am going to use the camera for the 1st time in the 2023 group build. Cale's '83 Lemans.

      It would be nice. But that is something that would something that needs to be done from scratch and probably a 600k investment. That ain't ever gonna happen.

    How many times has Revell reissued the old Renwal 1/4 scale Visible V8 kit. I just learned recently that Renwal had a 1/4scale chassis kit that went with engine kit. That would be incredible to reproduce.

    I remember reading something back in the day that the teams were not paid to have the cameras in the car, that in fact they paid the networks for the privilege of having them as it gained more exposure for the sponsors.

    Could any parties wealthy enough to acquire the Aurora 1/16 series scan and 3D print copies? I don't know if that's possible technically or legally, but what if?

    • @TheLukaCeeChannel
      @TheLukaCeeChannel  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It would be so expensive to do. No one would buy it. And 3d printing is not strong enough material to hold up to these kits.
