    Never stop with the tips and tricks brother. I feel like some of the other channels just glide right past the hardest parts and go straight for the amazing results which of some of us may not be able to get to. Plus you,re "non-professional, un polished, raw" approach is most welcoming!

    I really appreciate the tire lettering decal tip. Toning it down with that thinned black takes away the "toy" affect and does make it appear more realistic. I'll be doing this on all my future builds with tire lettering. Thank you for sharing. Awesome!

    Nice Tip with the rollbar. I was searching for something like that because my next project has a rollbar and i want it too look a little bit more realistic. And the Tip with the wires is awesome. The most cars have batteries but without wires. That's a nice tip. Thank you for that. 👍 Greets from Germany.

    Thanks for the roll bar padding tip. I've got a Dale Earnhardt diecast model by Action that already had a little detail to it but I have been adding more detail to make it look more like the real car. One example is, the interior tub, roll cage, dash, and seat were orange and looked too much like a toy, and those features were all red in the real car, so, I took it all apart, removed the roll cage using a dremel to drill out the heat welds to remove the cage from the floor of the interior tub. I have painted everything red that was red in the real car and painted the dash and panel under the rear window black. I even added some red dial needles to the gauges. Anyhoo, the roll cage didn't have wider parts simulating padding so I just painted those areas black but I just wasn't satisfied with that. I am glad that I came across this video and I have some 1/8 shrink tubing and I am going to try to make some padding for the roll cage.
    Thanks for the tip!!!

    • @Funsho97
      @Funsho97 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey I tried it and it worked great!!! I cut the end off of a q-tip and put the tubing on the stick part and used a lighter to shrink it down and it was the perfect size for the roll cage bars in my model, got a few more pieces to do. Really makes the roll cage look very realistic!!!

    Hi Luka looking for small pro street tires not drag tires. For the rear building a 59 Chevy Impala pro touring car are there any kits with smaller rear tires. Width isn't the problem it's the height of the tire . 59 Impala doesn't have a lot of room top to bottom. Most pro street kits have the tall tires. I used to use tires from monogram world of outlaws dirt track tires. But you have to get 2 kits. Because the tires are staggered.so you need 2 kits to get a pair for the rear. Can you help. Chester in Denver

    But the cigarette pack foil looks great to use as foil tape we use on real racecars to seal up any holes in fire wall real fast like the edges after you rivit the aluminum sheets we use the aluminum foil tape to seal off drivers cockpit to help prevent exhaust fumes and insulate a tiny tiny beat from heat. And it looks good for detailing radiators as well and aluminum panels for racecars and paint over it cuse it has a texture and looks good for model planes bare aluminum as well thanks for all the tricks man

    Quick question why does everyone who races real race cars like circle track in real life love building scale model NASCARs or even stock cars cuz I drive race cars in real life asphalt circle track modifieds and just about 90% of people I race with in every other division as well all build model cars the only models we build are scale race cars NASCAR old stock cars modifieds whatever that's the only models we build. And race cars drivers all over the country build scale model cars and it's usually just race cars
