Edit: Oh hey fellow Idahoan! You must be north because down here in the snake river valley we're missing snow 😭 Ski season is starting so late! The augusta skirt is one I'm most excited to see, if you end up making a video of it! I've been loving pintucks on skirts too, and have been looking for a pattern, so this was perfect!
I live in the treasure valley! We got a little snow and then had a 60 degree day! So weird. Maybe I will make a video for the skirt if there isn't one already!! I'm excited for it too.
This video makes me want to sew again! These are such great projects! I haven’t crocheted in years, but I want to crochet new potholders. It is a good excuse to thrift for yarn! 🧶 😂
I always love watching videos like this! I’m currently finishing all my Christmas gifts which are quilted vests, a dress, and a pair of pants for people. However I’m obsessed with crochet recently and am planning on crocheting a baclava
AHHH crocheting a balaclava?! I want to see it when it’s done. I’ve been wrapping my scarves around my head that way, but making one would be easier 😆 Also, I love your Christmas dress! 🎄 I’m excited for your pattern making journey!
I am doing a knit “paper chain” Christmas garland! Won’t be finished for this year because I started so late, but excited to have something homemade for decor next year. We celebrate Christmas is January so I still have quite a few simple sewing projects to do (reusable utensil pouches, bowl & jar covers, throw pillow).
I just saw a crocheted chain of red bows and thought it was so cute! I love the idea of a knitted garland. All of those projects sound so cute! I want to do a pillow too!
That’s so kind, thank you! I’ve gotten comments on my voice being “unpleasant” and “hard to listen to”, so that’s really sweet to me that you said that 😂🙏🏼
@@Thecasamagana I definitely reached for the stars with my Fall makes, but I also don't have 3 kids, so have grace for yourself. 😆 Don't forget that chipping away at an ongoing project can be really satisfying and intentional!
We have pretty similar ideas on winter makes. I bought the Eleanora dress by Silversaga patterns which is very similar to the dress you got. And the Zamora skirt by Madswick studio I got looks almost identical to the Augusta skirt you got. I really like Vivian Chao Shens Laurence top pattern which I followed Bethanylynne makes hack into a button down dress. I’ve made 4 and they are my summer staple. And the tank top I’ve made 3 with plans for more. Also Vivian’s Daphne jacket is incredible. I’ve made 2 so far from thrifted fabric I quilted. I love that we do the same things-find sheets or duvets at the thrift store and make sweet clothes. I also just bought the Gingko pinafore by Madswick because I like reversible and adjustable clothes for when weight changes. I love being able to make things last for different seasons of life.
Oh my gosh, we really do have similar style! I have seen the Eleanora dress and the zamora skirt and you're so right, they're nearly identical to the ones I'm making. I also follow Bethanylynn and have made her stocking! It's so fun to all be in this sewing pattern community together! I'll have to check out Vivian's Daphne jacket because that is the only one you mentioned that I hadn't heard of. I am seeing that pinafore by Madswick all over my feed recently- so beautiful!
I've just found your channel and it's exactly my type of sewing content! I love seeing what other people have in the works, and we have really similar taste. I'm in Australia so we're coming into summer which I'm trilled about because it's peak pretty dress season too. I've got some time off over the holidays so I'm thinking about the Silversaga Eleanora dress and probably making some summer PJs/nighties. I've just made two mini Soften Studios Dae dresses and love them both, so I might make a third, and I've also just made a maxi gingham Spaghetti Western Henrietta skirt in black & white, and have a large red & white check I'll probably make another one in. I've also just bought & printed the Silversaga Amelie blouse and the Syd Graham Lane pants. I'm not usually an elastic waist person as I don't like how it tends to look on me (I hacked my Henrietta skirt to have a fitted waistband & zip) but I'm going to give the Lane pants a go, and worst case I can just wear them around the house or to bed if I don't love how they look. It's such a busy time of year but I'm really looking forward to some time off to organise my sewing plans and tackle some of these projects so I can enjoy my beautiful clothes!
@@pppearled I’m jealous you live in Australia! I already miss the warmth! I am overwhelmed by how amazing your plans are. Silver saga makes only stunning patterns 🤩 and I have had my eye on the Dae dress pattern! The Amelie blouse is all over my Instagram feed right now and I was also thinking of buying the Lane pants! You’re right, we have very similar taste!! Do you share your makes anywhere?
i love your plans and what pretty fabric!
i always struggle finding good buttons thrifting too. i often default to hobby lobby for mine as well ☺️

Oh good idea!!
Thank you so much for supporting my small business!! I'm thrilled you love the Augusta skirt and I look forward to seeing your version 😍
I’m so excited to make it for winter! I hope you get loads of support from the pattern! 🎉

I am most excited about making the Chamomile dress (in case that wasn't clear in the video). Which pattern do you like best?
Your fall sewing video inspired me but I overcommitted and have only made one project since I went into my hibernation mode early 😂
Also the lighting in this video is amazing. You look great in brown
