- Sky News host Rita Panahi brands Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau the “king of performative caring”.
Mr Trudeau declared Canadians don’t want a politician to “make Canada great again” during a speech in the House of Commons.
The comment was aimed at Canadian Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre while he addressed his government’s policies aimed at tackling the cost of living.
“Yes, why would Canadians want Canada to be great again? What a shocking concept that would be,” Ms Panahi said.
The next Canadian federal election will take place on or before October 202, 2025.

I'm worried what he'll sell off. The last time the Conservatives were in charge, they signed us up for a 31 year trade deal with China, which allowed them you buy up the oil companies of Alberta and pollute to their heart's content on Canadian soil. They brought in the Temporary Foreign Worker permit that brings in 500,000 people to work in Tim Hortons and McDonalds, undercutting the job market and wages. I don't want a wheat board to be sold to the Saudi's like Harper did. I don't want the Greenbelt to be sold to corporations like Ford did.
Once they get in they'll sell it for cents on the dollar. We just don't know what it is yet. Then they'll complain there is a hole in Canada but have no plan to fix it. But their honesty doesn't get them votes.

I am a Canadian who moved to the USA, Moved my business and family as well. In Canada it got so bad that you have to wait inline for healthcare for at least 3 months. Taxes are double what I pay now in the US. Houses are double. Plus in schools they teach kids crazy things.

The elected Democrat mayor and governor have banned the police from making arrests of criminals like this. If a cop should be brave enough to actually arrest someone, the thief simply claims he can't afford bail and he's released back on the street again within hours of his arrest. It has completely demoralized the police. Businesses are shutting down because of mass theft. Sadly if they restock, they will only be hit again. The thieves don't see anything wrong with it, not stopping to consider that the store owner had to buy that merchandise and can only stay in business based on sales.
