Pls explain is it wood or card board? What are these stamps called? Thanks from Abu Dhabi

The bookmarks are made of wood. As for the stamps, I bought them while I was shopping for scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies. They come from different shops. The stamps are meant to be used on paper, but I discovered they work with wood and paints well :) I use archival ink for the stamps, I don't know if other types of ink will be equally effective.
