I was wondering the same thing. Why varnish and glue? Does ModPodge work? Can we use the same technique that you use to make rice paper? Glue and water mixture goes down first; then place the tissue paper and then mod podge. And what are the book marks made out of? Why order from Amazon when you can make a simple pattern and cut out? nBut...are they just heavy cardstock and can you use chalk paint with Mod Podge over cardstock? So many questions. Book marks are great idea, but too little info on details.
