Sony practically abandoned PSVR2 in the first year. They quit manufacturing them and probably are looking to the PC market just to dump their stockpile. 😢

I own them all and really hoping I can play PCVR on my PSVR2 because I will be selling my Reverb G2 and Index instantly.

@@forbidden76 Pico 4 has pancake lenses and higher resolution than PSVR2. Pimax Crystal Lite destroys PSVR2 and starts at $699. The only reason I have PSVR2 is for GT7 and RE4 remake
No Xbox is not going to stop making hardware. Sure they lose money on it but look at all the money made back up on all the new controllers they come out with.

I want a real Xbox VR headset. Or at least for Microsoft to make VR versions of their games and put them on the Meta Quest three. Vr games are way better then flat screen.

Holy crap! Are you kidding me?! VR is Awesome, compared to flat panel gaming. It is so so much more immersive and you really feel like you’re in the environment. I can’t even believe that anybody would question that.

@@resevilfan1999 Those that say VR is stupid never tried what I call a "REAL" VR headset like Reverb G2, Index or PSVR2 hooked up to a 3080ti or better graphics card.
Quest doesn't count...its a mobile phone CPU/GPU in a headset and looks horrible because of it but I get it if people want ease of use and cheap.
People judge VR on Quest products and that totally not fair to the industry.
Xbox Cloud Gaming can become better but is amazing aswell for me. Most people say Cloud gaming is trash, don't have a great connection

It also doesn't mean the people are bad people, they just don't have a good connection and it doesn't always have to do with money... My friend has a crappy connection, simply because the Internet provider in his area hasn't fully integrated into his neighborhood, and he's in the middle of a big city, London... So it doesn't always apply to rural folks either.
great review. as a Xbox player my only desier for a VR is for the emershion of plaing First Person View games, the feel more in the helmet of master chef or in the space helmet in starfield, in some horror games to put me on edge.. that would be my only desier for a VR head set
Sony PSVR2 the quickest return I ever made. It flopped for one major reason NO backwards compatibility. I'm heavily invested in the PSVR and that was just a giant middle finger. I can do without a 1st party VR from Xbox the Quest 3 compatibility is way more intelligent and useful for most of us. I'm only bummed I now have to buy a 2nd headset if they are making a Xbox themed one.
I think you're wrong about the headset I use my quest 2 to sit on the couch and have a 100 inch screen in front of me and I use my rog ally

I used to play on a Nintendo Wiiu when I was younger, and all my "friends" when threating me like a baby just for it, saying "nintendo is for kids". Then I bought a Nintendo Switch and they cryed like kids because they wanted one. They are not my friends anymore.
I think vr would attract people to Xbox if it's good quality but I personally couldn't use vr it's just a bit much for me I felt dizzy I also felt like i was going cross eyed at times 😂

This may be an unpopular opinion but I'm really interested in this semi-VR-space where you use the headset as a monitor and can look around a little bit but you still use a controller for the gameplay. There's a VRmodder that makes mods for some popular games that act this way. You don't have to use motion controllers or move around, you just get a little more immersive gameplay.
Once a person walks through the door of VR it's more consistent then whats seen on the surface. At the moment it's slowly (in the indi crowds) becoming an "us vs them" thing. Thats why Vr need to be More Palpable for "The Normies". How their showing VR seems a bit much. What you say in the video is correct thought.

OK, but has anyone been able to get Xbox to work on their MetaQuest 3. I I can never get a controller to work with it and it’s so frustrating. I want to play so bad.

Actually, that’s not true. Microsoft was working with Activision blizzard for two years before they purchased it and they were always planning on purchasing the company and they were always working on the games so yeah that’s not true at all.

Now I don’t have a way to play Hell divers unless it comes to Xbox and I do want to play it and I know from looking into it it has unique aspects of the game that set it apart but whenever I see videos of it reminds me of a mash up between starship troopers, terminator, ODST and destiny characters which is not a jab at it again I want to play it but I like how different and similar it is at the same time
Edit also the reason I’m hoping it comes to Xbox is I can’t afford to invest in more than one system at a time I just can’t and I’m not just going to sell the Xbox and buy PlayStation since I have over 600 games tied to my Xbox account and that’s just digitally that’s not even physical copies at the very least maybe I can get a low end gaming PC and hook it up to my TV so I can steam but again if Xbox is wanting to branch out and they can get hell divers ported to the Xbox and eventually make a Steam app to wear either the games are streamed through Xbox service to your house through Steam or you save them locally on your Xbox and Steam games and access them through a Steam app and play them like they’re Xbox games then I wouldn’t really need to get a PlayStation or PC which puts me in a predicament of do I get stuff or do I wait
Quest 3 is fun. I actually play it more then my beautiful xbox as of lately.
I have been a pc gamer since the 90s. I only leaned to xbox when I saw the writing on the wall of the blend with pc, so I got a 360. Still more pc then console.
Anything that does anything with Facebook is a hard pass.
Sony and Microsoft should just make 1 console between the 2 of them where they split the console sales 50/50 then they make their own games and get all the profit from their games and split the 3rd party. It would bring back great games and stop all wars.

Nope! I have multiple VT headsets. Most people I know can't comfortably use any of them very long and I use it around 5% of my gaming time
Vr gaming is also exclusively 4 those with deep pockets that can afford the headset and computer power.

What I hate in the new age of gaming is online only gaming. And No game on disc (100% on disc),but just download gaming is killing me from update from my xbxo360 & PS3. Because of the no disc games & a need of internet or no games going to be played. Just give me games on disc 100% with need of internet and I would buy new system.

I started gaming with an ps2.
When i Had my Xbox 360 everyone was making fun of me because i needed to Pay for online gaming. Then i bought an ps4. Everyone was fine with that. Now i bought a Xbox Series X, because it was way cheaper than an PS5 and it's started again. My gaming Friends dont want to Game with me anymore because of that.
I started to hate my Xbox console, Wanted to sell it and trade it in for an PS5. I ordered one and it didnt came. The Games that are on Xbox dont exide me anymore, i Love Forza, Starfield was cool for some time and so was halo. But when you start to See the Cracks and See how good the other Games on the Ps5 are Made. You Just Wonder. Why did i even buy this damn Thing in the First place. 😢
I also started collecting Playstation consoles. Got the 1,2,3 (Sold my 360), 4, PSP and Vita. Only one which is Missing is 5. I owned an Switch Lite, but Sold it after i bought the Vita. It is Like an addiction.😅

I feel like so-called consoles wars are necessary to an extent, if one company did not have competition from another would they have a reason to step their game up or really put that much effort into something? I feel like they might just get lackadaisical (unnecessary long word there) and feel like well we got no competition why don't we just throw this game out or this Hardware without really testing it.

I hate when people who only play PlayStation always have negative comments to say about anyone who plays Xbox. It's just childish. For them to say that Xbox is port begging They do realize if Xbox wanted to they could pull call of duty from their system and make it exclusively on Xbox. I play both systems ...always have ....I do play majority of my games on Xbox outside of the exclusives that PS has.

VR is not an accessory. Saying VR is an accessory is like saying a couch is a decorative and useless piece of furniture. Just because you don't use a couch doesn't mean it's meant to be a solely decorative piece.
If they going to in the future have a VR headset I rather merge the current games that's on the console itself beyond the VR headset not have a separate platform and separate games nobody cares about and don't like The call of duty The games are already half on our console that'd be a better way

Console wars are nothing new. I remember Intellivision making fun of the Atari 2600. Then Atari put out the 5200 system so Intellivision put out the II model. If it's about the games then what ever system you own will keep you satisfied.

Masterchief collection is the only reason why I bought an Xbox One and it’s probably the only reason I stuck with buying a Series X. I don’t play the game anymore but If masterchief collection wasn’t an exclusive to begin with I probably would have jumped ship. Exclusives are needed to sell consoles imo. I also like Series Consoles dev mode as well…
