- Mindful Monday, From Me to You
Hi everyone, Jo here again. Thanks so much for popping in.
Today we are going to look at a design for the new Lavinia Challenge..
“From me to you “
I will be using one of our sticker stencils, some elements ink and a couple of stamps to create a classic design. I will then add some background stencil work and add the design into my journal.
Some posca splats and a sentiment will add some finishing touches.
This design would work beautifully on a card too

I found this video very calming and pleasing with the colours you chose. Maybe one day we can have a peak at Eric The closer he get he’s telling you he wants his dinner and his walk. OurCherry does the same. They can’t speak words but they certainly tell you what they want and need. 😘💞😀😀😀

My dog knows when it's 7 am and when it's 5 pm when she gets fed. I swear she knows how to tell time. Love dogs. I bet that black lab of yours is so gorgeous. This page is so pretty. Pink and green is an awesome combination made in nature itself. And that heart has given me so many ideas for an anniversary card. Thanks so much Jo.

That does it! I simply must order the larger journal now. My smaller ones were great for a start though.
Still picturing some iridescent dragonflies in mine. And I so love their beautiful wide wings, ever since I had one light on my knee one summer . Fab colours too!

Jo, can you please tell Me what the size of the Stencils in inches. The Lavinia site doesn't give Me the size of the Stencils. In the USA, We have 5" x 7" Card bases and 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 along with DL. Our paper comes in 8 1/2 x 11 inches. To mail any larger than 5 x 7 would cost a lot in postage. So, I really have to stay within 5" wide by 7" long. Thank you in advance Jo. You are the best Demonstrator Lavinia has in My honest opinion. You enjoy doing your designs and teaching Us. I just adore you ❤️ !

The main stencils are 6inches by 8 inches and 8 inch square…(the newer ones ) Hope that helps, xx🧡

This is beautiful Jo, your journal looks amazing, so bulky and fully of gorgeous artwork. I am thinking of getting one of the Lavinia journals but can't decide whether to get the smooth one or textured one. Which one do you use? I'd like the option of stamping straight onto the page if I wanted to so wondered how textured the textured one is? xx
Thanks so much for watching Debbie, this is the rough journal, just because I like the texture in the pages,,.the smooth journal is easier to stamp on…so it depends what type of journal you are creating xx🧡
