I love the first card because it has a clean wholesome feel to it but then I like the second one with the stained glass. Good call on switching gears on that one. Thanks for another great video.

I love that your coverplate die has the outline separate. I wish ALL cover dies were made that way.
I love the second card because of the ink blending, your inks glow, and are so fun to use. I like your theme of white, you included so many different techniques using this theme. You are an excellent instructor as well as a wonderful designer and artist.

Ah, picking a favorite today is tough!! I was going to pick the butterfly card, but then you did that vibrant background using the arched die like a stencil, and added the succulents, which I have. Oh, the 2nd card made me think of "Aloha!", which is always good, and the last card was gorgeous too! I can't decide!!! Thanks for some great tips today! Love all the cards!
These came out beautifully. I enjoy seeing you use supplies in different ways so we that can get better value for our money. It was good to see that even a professional does not always have things go to plan, and that’s ok. One thing though, I do miss the awkward die cutting. 😂 Thank you for all the inspiration ♥️

They’re all amazing, but that stained glass card is crazy gorgeous!! I just found your channel and you became my weekend binge. You’re a natural at teaching and I love that you keep funny bits in your videos (misplacing items, etc.). So relatable. I wanted to ask, are you working on a mat? It looks like wood but sometimes you “ink” it.

Thank you! Yes, totally include the Candy stripes die in lots of projects. I’ll show more examples soon, but just don’t use Christmas colors and it can be for any season. :)

My favorite is the stained glass window die. The card you made with it is beautiful. I want to buy this die, and the first thing I want to try is putting acetate behind it and then put translucent Nuvo drops in the spaces. Thank you for all the ideas!

Gorgeous cards Simon! My fave is that lovely background using the stripe die with foam. Do iIneed to get another heat gun to use my Simon Hurley stamping foam, as i only have a regular one? TIA.😊
You can use either heat tool. Just make sure to keep your heat tool moving so you don’t burn the foam. :)

Hi Simon. Do your dye ink pads have a layer of fabric over the foam? I'm looking to replace my Marvy dye ink pads because the foam pad has broken down, leaving crumbs on my work.
Yes, they are made of a woven type fabric. :)
