What books would you recommend for teens to read? We are in Australia and know about the Labor Party very well. Especially at the moment. Trying to pass the Mis/Dis information bill or MAD. Teaching our children identity politics and race and queer theory.
Animal Farm and 1984. They are adapted to graphic novels that younger kids can read and develop some early immunity against identity politics. "Four legs bad, two legs good". My kids now know it’s laughable when they see similar BS in social media or school books.

Polling suggests Labor will lose the next federal election. In Canada, polling suggests an absolute collapse for Trudeau. In the UK, only 20% of the electorate voted for Labour and even then Starmer has since had the largest drop in approval of any modern Prime Minister. Plenty to be hopeful for…but we should not be complacent.
