No idea why the mainstream music industry hated this bunch of lads, absolutely awesome albums. Highlighting societies issues and made scapegoats for it, no wonder they got fed up of it all, some proper anthems for the generation at the time. I still blast these songs to the max, the angst and passion gets me big time. Should have been huge boys for sure
This band really are the mutts. ive been a fan a while, after a while listening to a more modern band, you begin to pick out alot of influences in them. Now im not saying they sound like this or that cos they deserve their own praise. but i get a bit of The jam in some of their tracks, or this one has a little bit of 'this is england' by the clash about it. awsome.
The morning after, the revolution P.C 1525 told me there was no real solution Bruised lips and a ripped up jacket Money all in the road Sat down with a big fat mac Screaming ‘what about my way home
qultey fist albumm was great secound not 2 sure but dis songg was quiltey seen thmm at the rico arena hope there making a new album :) does anyone noo if they are?
They have actually never said or claimed to be better than Oasis! Alot of what they have said about Oasis has been taken out of context and Tom is always saying how much he loves them. Long live The Enemy!
I'm a huge Enemy fan, loved 2nd album when it came out but not quite as much as the first, anyway I was buzzin when the top 40 came out, this bein the first single was straight in there somewere and I can remember watchin the UK Top 40 countdown on the music channel all week trying to catch the video but didn't they fuck up with this vid? Wasn't it deemed to offensive? I remember the channel saying that everytime and skipping to the next song in the countdown, so a huge missed opportunity there
Such a great band, but soon as you start ragging out oasis and claiming to be better than them then theres only one way, and thats Down hill. Such a shame though
One of the most underrated songs ever.
The most underrated indie band of all time
What a voice coming from such a small dude!
One of the best live bands I've ever seen
so underrated, this song's fking amazing
Don't know what is more amazing, the song or the video, you guys are awesome!
Gotta be one of the only excellent songs on the radio these days.

I'm convinced the critics were coming after them because they disagreed with the band's lyrics, all of their songs are incredible
What. A. Tuuuuuune! 👌🏼👆🏼
I love The Enemy, I wish they were more globally so they could come here to mexico in a concert.

They have actually never said or claimed to be better than Oasis! Alot of what they have said about Oasis has been taken out of context and Tom is always saying how much he loves them. Long live The Enemy!
This was one my favourite songs of 2009. Absolutely blew me away.... Shame it's a bit crap live :(
@hammercoyi Funny that, because the enemy arnt brit pop. Plus that was in the late 90s when british music came back into action with bands like oasis
how is this song not globally known?
sounds a bit kula shakery? the song is good! solid!
What is it with this US influence on your album?
It's not grabbed me like the majority of you first album guys fuck off the yanks.
The enemy were my life when I was 8 and 9
Same man

cant say i'd spit on anything that belonged to tom clarke unless i wanted a scrap
@MrChristhistleton You've also got to factor in that you're drunk when live. So yeah, much better live.
Ya se a quien me recuerda el cantante, se parece mucho a Andres Lopez el de la pelota de letras; hahhahahaha
@OrangeySnicket Love ur username :D

The clash - this is England.
