The Bahai Gardens in Haifa comprise a staircase of nineteen terraces extending all the way up the northern slope of Mount Carmel.
The geometry of the complex is built around the axis connecting it with the City of ‘Akko, which also has great historical and sacred significance for Bahá’ís. At its heart stands the golden-domed Shrine of the Báb, which is the resting place of the Prophet-Herald of the Bahai Faith. (www.ganbahai.org.il)

Beautiful movie but unfortuantely the music doesn't suit the pictures, it should be more quiet and meditative kind of music.

A nice place but empty, you do not know that the seed that God wants is not physical, but spiritual. Do not say that it is for me, because I was there and you did not know me, Eli'jah.
Too bad you didn't include the German Templar Colony buildings just below the terraces. They came to the foot of Mount Carmel in the 1840's because they were expecting the return of Christ. There are inscriptions about this over their doors. They had farms and businesses and helped the city of Haifa prosper. Even the Kaiser made a special trip to honor their achievements. There are plaques in English, Hebrew and German by many of their buildings.
+Roberta Bulling You're right. I visited a church near the german colony every Saturday morning, that's why I walked very often through the colony. It's one of my favorite places in Haifa!
Unfortunately I was only allowed to fly over the Bahai Gardens. But next time I go to Haifa, I will make video of the colony too.
