I make a point to see every one of your videos, even if I don’t think I’ll tie the fly, because I always learn a new technique or trick that I can put in my toolbox. Thanks for sharing and making it fun.

I remember seeing this fly at K Mark in Wheeling Illinois when I was a kid. I think the fly came from Hank Roberts. I remember thinking it was the coolest fly ever. You make tying this fly look easy cause you are a master of difficult materials twisted up on a hook. This one looks as masterful as ever. Thanks for sharing!

So good. That’s such a hard fly to master. Excellent work as always Charlie.

Hank Roberts sold this fly as a Irresistable back in the day - still a favorite of mine...

I love this fly, it’s buoyant and fish dig it too!

You are blowing the youngster's minds with all these old school favorites. Do you ever use serrated blade scissors for deer hair? Keep those grizzly hackle tips!

I don't think I've seen you use nanosilk before 🤔 I use it almost exclusively. But lately I ran out of some colors and reverted go UTC and UNI and I gotta say... I miss those threads lol. Nanosilk has some undesirable qualities but boy is it strong. Thanks for the video Charlie you've quickly become one of my absolute favorites. So many videos and you still take the time to teach us little tips n tricks instead of just use this use that. Much appreciated. Grateful to live in a time where we can learn in video format from someone with incredible skill and detailed explanation.

I always have a couple of them in my fly box. I do a lot of blueline brook trout fishing, here in the North East. VT NH in September. It's a fun fly to fish. Back in the day, I tied the bodies with caribou body hair. It flared really well with the weaker threads we had, not like today. 30 D GSP is damn near my go-to thread. The little tricks are as usual very helpful. I use to be really anal with the trimming, I don't think the fish care that much. Good one Charlie.

I need to see the off camera stacking etc in order to tie the fly. Thank you.
