- BMW are introducing their second all electric car to the market next year. That car, will be the i4. We take a look around at the concept i4, which has the same amount of horse power as their v8 engines produce. What’s cool is, the production car will look almost the same as this concept. Thoughts??

@@antbrooks1625 They've taken design cues from the 3 and some tech from the i8 concept and embellished the rest with gaudy lighting and trim. Is it kinda cool in an over-the-top way, sure. But, that's about it

@@FALprofessional Well that's the one thing I'll admit, yes it is thanks to Tesla that all these luxury companies are taking electric serious now. We probably wouldn't have gotten things like this until 2030+ if that wasn't the case.
Nice, love the colour, crystals & panoramic roof 😍 what size of battery/ charger does it have & how long for a full charge on fast charge? I'm guessing the 100km is about 30%? I think if bigger/ more powerful batteries were used, as standard, (hoping the car co's can find space somehere), then we wouldn't need to charge it for as long & if there were more frequent, & more powerful charge points, this would again be appealing to more drivers. Plus if you had a home charge point then you just plug it overnight like a phone! I've got an electric car & it's defo faster than my old petrol car! The no noise on mines is a bit disturbing at first but I always have music on anyways so you don't notice it when driving. I do love the start up sounds too, really cool 👍 cheers for sharing babe 😘

Love it. Hope the interior keeps the open light feel, I'd expect a normal roof with perhaps a large glass sunroof for production but potentially a very beautiful car!

This is what it means to create a stylish electric car. Love the quality, lights and indoor sounds. Just the driving sound is disappointing but it hopefully will change in the future.

100%. Not a chance of it having 600km range. That all glass roof won't pass any safety tests. I do love the huge screen though
@@MrCathal09 I think the range is not that unrealistic as Tesla also has similar ranges. Of course, that glass roof will be killed by regulations, but the interior looks quite production ready if you leave out that all-white look and the steering wheel. These screens and the graphics are pretty much what we will see in the final version, BMW said that these screens are already the ones for the car you can buy.

Look at the 2008 i8 concept and compare it to the actual. I'd definitely say at least 75% of concept layout made it to the production car.

Having a tint on the windows would be awesome or self tinting glass that transitions from dark to light if out in the sun like eye glasses.
