Great video brother, I think the biggest with "Swiss Made" issue is that under Swiss law, any product can be called Swiss Made if more than 50% of the costs are incurred in Switzerland. So basically you can have a QC process in Switzerland or paid to a Swiss company, so that they can call a watch swiss made.

Swiss Made is totally meaningless as it does not mean Swiss made as such. The Swiss Made definition is crooked and deceitfull. The Swiss Made means that 50% or more of the expenditure to build the watch occured in Switzerland as well as it must be assembled in Switzerland. So conceivably a watch could be 100% made in China with the exception of the hairspring, balance wheel and fork and be delivered to Switzerland as a kit to be assembled there… Given the wages differential between China and Switzerland the Made in Switzerland will be complied with… So unsuspecting people would then buy a watch essentially made in China but labelled Made in Switzerland… at a high price… This is deceit typical of the Western world and culture.

Swiss Made does matter.....if you're a movement snob! Can't tell you the number of folks who just hate on Japanese movements for no reason I can determine other than that they aren't Swiss movements. Makes no sense to me, especially for "every day" watches.
MJ is the GOAT (really its Larry Bird, but I won't argue that point). Queen Jimmy is a mercenary......he's a crybaby....he's a diva.....and he'd get taken apart in MJ's version of the NBA when they played actual basketball. Queen Jimmy is a CCP puppet and a hater.
But I do see what you're saying about reference points. Our watches tell stories. They are reference points in the roadmap which is our lives.
Not very familiar with the micro brands you spoke about, but from what you showed, I'd be willing to experience some of that.
I can't wait for my Venezianico Aureo. Wish they'd ship it already.
I try to avoid, when I can, watches without constant seconds hands. Sometimes it can't be helped that there isn't one, but mostly I want one when I buy.
I still hate butterfly clasps. COME ON GUYS SHIP ME MY AUREO!!!!
