I love geany! My favorite CS professor showed it to me my freshman year and I’ve loved it ever since. I’ve been using the lua plugin to customize it to really make it my own and it’s so fun. I’ve only been coding for 2 years but having my very own ide just makes it that much more enjoyable
I like Geany is quite good and easy to use; it's sure no vscode. Also another decent text editor for the terminal shell for quick edits is Micro Text editor to replace nano. THanks for making this video... Both Micro and Geany sure help me, cause I just can't get use to EMACS or VIM keybinds. Makes me remember CygnusED on the Amiga back in 1990, that was a nice editor.
yeah it was my go to text / code editor on Linux. On Windows I love notepad++ I would also continue to use Geany, but it doesn't support Zig which is my favorite programming language. I moved to Sublime Text and Neovim as my go to code editor.
Thanks for this. Geany is soooooo underrated in this era of bloated electron apps. Love geany and what you’re doing promoting this fantastic tool.
These Geany videos are great. You've converted me.
I use it for a long time for C++ and I'm a huge Geany fan. And version 2 just made it god level.
Thanks for the second video. I'm going to give Geany a try.
Hope you enjoy it!

We have Kitty terminal, Neovim editor and NVChad configuration. I haven't tried heard of Geany, but it is something to consider.
btw I forgot to tell you: I like your logo, did you draw it yourself ?
No. Not nearly that talented
I loved geany in the past,
I would use it to day, but it lacks GDScript support :(

I have the same feeling with LSP support
