    We all wore those clothes. There was no white thing nor black thing. It was Just A Thing ;) And we all had a fab time living. It was an amazing time to be young. Cheers.

    John Travolta tore it up in Saturday Night Fever. Bee Bees always made us want to dance. I learned the Latin Hustle to that song way back when my hips still worked.

    I loved the disco era. As a female, when they played songs like this at the nightclubs you could just go out on the floor with your girlfriends and dance. You didn't have to wait for a guy to ask you to dance. It was awesome!

    That's their baby brother Andy who died young. He had his own singing career but was going to join his brothers the year he died. Barry was burned with hot water on his chest but it never stopped him from letting us ogle him. Twin brothers Robin and Maurice have both passed away now. That documentary is fantastic. These guys were good and decent men.

    The shots from this video are either from Saturday Night Fever Movie, or their Spirits Having Flown Tour. It was a 4 month tour which began summer of 1979, not long after releasing album of same name & Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in 1977. It would become their most successful & lavish tour, leasing a custom Boeing 720 painted red & black with their emblem on sides & tail. They took all their families with them (including the bands, etc!), & used 6 semi trucks to move their equipment from city to city. Barry & his wife Linda (of 51 years now!) said in an interview in 2017 that this was the most “magical time” in their lives😌!!

They wrote all their own music. They also wrote major hits for many, many other artists. They recorded for over 40 years together. THAT'S amazing! I hope you'll check out their song 'Alone.' Andy Gibb also had a love affair with Victoria Principal who was several years older than him. She was very beautiful and was an actor in a evening soap called Dallas. Before your time. I was gonna say if you wanted to catch the clothing style and dance moves from back in the day from this song on Soul Train, it's on TH-cam. I used to love to watch Soul Train! Believe it or not, it was on Saturday mornings. Tragedy would be another good song to react to.

    I loved soul train peace love and soul. Yes, the Bee Gees performed on Soul Train. Introducing a falsetto into his vocals Barry indicated the differing influences the Gibb brothers were beginning to take on board after moving from the UK to Miami in 1975. It was certainly no accident or recording studio mishap, but rather some form of miracle or twist of fate.

    Love disco. Impossible not to want to dance the night away ☺. Disco also makes household tasks fun. Hoovering (vaccuming) to disco music makes the task enjoyable.

    Yes, that dance segment is how John Travolta became famous from the movie "Saturday Night Fever". My two favorite songs from the album are "Night Fever" and "If I Can't Have You" written by the BG's and sung by Yvonne Elliman. Try them both.

    Have you never seen the movie Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta ? He actually had to learn how to dance just for the movie ! ? The Bee Gees did the soundtrack for it ! Check it out !

    Other songs from this great movie;
    Night Fever
    More than a woman
    Please note;
    The 3 Gibb brothers began singing way before their disco period. In fact they started at ages 9 Barry, and 6 the twins!
    Also check out their earlier stuff pre disco;
    Run to me
    How to mend a broken heart
    Lonely days lonely nights.
    Bee Gees have a huge catalogue of songs. They wrote songs for other artists.

    Fourth guy was Andy Gibb, he came on to the stage that night as a special guest. That footage is from a concert. As for the guy dancing, it’s John Travolta from the film Saturday Night Fever where this song was featured as well as other BeeGees songs.

      @@kathypatterson1598 Barry is my least favorite. I like them all but there's something about Robin and Maurice's humor that made them both very sexy.... And I loved Robins voice!

    I was 18 when this song came out. It was a lot of fun dancing at clubs to the Bee Gees and disco.

    The bass line makes this track, just funky and danceable as fuck, shame that andy is the only one of them left, they were happy days, and just a blast.
