    I would REALLY like to see this after the pond fills back up. As deep as that one end is supposed to be, I bet it would be a phenomenal swimming hole.

      me too. in fact, i would like to see some of these ponds you've built, repaired, and dredged out after a year or two. when they have filled and the grass is growing.

      I totally agree. You could make one video of your greatest pond renovations before and after completely filled. Love looking at your spectacular dirt work but a full pond series would be awesome!!!

    Several loads of riprap rock on the back end of dam would help the dam last longer. Great job Cris. You the man with a plan $$$$$

    In the late 60s I worked for a farmer in Minnesota who had some wooded area on his property. My breaks would find me sitting next to a small brook in this cool, moist spot. It's so nice to have some water on your land! Beautiful job with this pond...a pleasure to watch. Thank you.

      This really has been one of the best transformations so far. Partly due to the situation prior to Chris arriving, and mostly to the work Chris has done. It’s the kind of transformation that makes me feel this is something I would be immensely proud to own!! I don’t often look at them this way as it is irrelevant, but nice, nice job Chris.

    I liked when you went back to the beginning where you explained what you were going to do....then did it!! I couldn't quite remember all the issues it had in the beginning...plus with the machines breaking down and you doing other projects my memory just couldn't recall all the details!! Great video! and very good job...As always!

    How interesting it is to watch this guy doing his thing. He handles all the machinery like a concert violinist
    playing his violin.
    I have always wanted to learn heavy equipment operator. Never did though.
    I can't imagine having so much power at the tips of your' fingers. Amazing job Chris.

    Hope Uncle John is recovering well. This is a large transformation. When the mini was sitting in the pond on the slope. It suddenly dawn's on you the angle and height of the dam.

      @@IR-nq4qv ... plus (god forbid) a hurricane. I'm not sure if Chris ever mentioned if this was a catchment pond or spring fed. There does seem to be a perpetual wet area up next to the dam.

    Wow that’s insane to only have 70-75 hrs in that entire project. That goes so much faster than I thought it would have. Suppose that’s why you stay so busy. Work very efficiently in which keeps the cost down and in return, more customers.

    Not bad for one man and 70 hrs, that's a quality job right there....you had to remove a large swath of bush and trees and then fix up someone else's mistakes all the while continually throwing dirt in front of you to move it then the equipment breaking down twice and you still did a good job. I say you did good brother👍👍

    Talking about fish hotels in ponds. I came to mind about just stacking - no cement - cinder blocks with the holes to the side and make it several high and have another stack a brick away and so forth for a major. The gritty surface is good an the little ledges are and plenty of bendy edges for fry to hide from bigger fish. Just a thought and it might be a good one. Martin
