Heyyyyy.. same here.. I am 56 yo black dude. I started in Feb. Into my 7th month. My ortho said I have the fastest moving adult teeth she has ever seen. I started elastics 2 weeks ago wearing them 20 hours per day. Elastics are already working. Just soooooo amazing!!! In two weeks I go up in wire to rectangular wire 18 x 25.. love my journey.. the pain and discomfort is worth it…

I heard it’s correlated to overbites too, I’m so new to this I just got my braces around 2 days ago, was super nervous and skeptical also but watching your videos and doing research I’m learning more! I'm using elastics to push my lower teeth backwards and my right side has shifted much faster than my right side and I also eat only on the right side

I’m in my fifth months of braces too. I got them in February
My dentist adjusted the braces for me yesterday and now I can’t eat anything lol

I can totally relate! Whenever I get mine readjusted, the pain stays for around a week. And eating is not a fun thing to do!
