If you are good at soldering then it is technically possible. However, the purpose of an sodimm module is that it is removable. I would recommend an adaptor board like this one amzn.to/2U1eDXl I think I might get one and i could compare it with the official board :) hope this helps and thank you for the comment, regards, John
