My daughter has been going to the English Mountain trout farm since she was in her stroller and she is now 9 years old. We love the owners we love the place. We haven't been in a few years and she's wanting to go back.
Our family eats at English Mountain Trout Farm literally every time we go to TN! The owner and his family are the nicest bunch of folks and he can tell you stories for hours! Sadly their mascot dog...Chief Lazy Bones...passed recently. Our boys loved seeing that dog when we would visit. Great place...great food...great people...highly recommend it!
I have never heard of the English trout farm. That's something that I would love to try the next time that we are there. It blesses my heart to see your family bow their heads to give thanks to our Lord and Savior. No matter where we are when we are about to eat or what we are eating we give thanks to The Lord above . We went there a few years ago. Being we are a retired couple we didn't catch our fish just ate it. It was delicious. People were extremely friendly. Loved the place.

English Mountain Trout Farm. Great Video. I used to catch trout in a lake in Alaska as a boy. I've enjoyed trout fishing. That place looks great. We'd definitely stop by there. I'd let my wife do the fishing and enjoy that meal. Stay safe on your adventures.
I have known about this trout farm for over 20 years. I've been there's lots of times. But I've never ate there, nor have I fished there. They used to have fish food machines that you could put a quarter into & get a hand full of fish pellets, & feed the fish. That's what I'd do when came there. It was so fun & relaxing to watch the trout all go crazy for the fish food. 🐟🐠

Hey Bob, There is no fishing in Gatlinburg on Thursdays as they stock the waters. Thus, Friday is going to give you the best chance with the most fish in the water. The Bridge below the skylift going up to the skybridge always has tons of trout. That would be my #1 recommended spot.
