The Kira Kira no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit which allows the user to transform their body into diamond. It was eaten by Jozu. The fruit allows the user to turn into diamond, giving them a very tough body. As diamond is one of the hardest substances in the world, Jozu's defenses seem to enhance exponentially, and he is able to block the strongest slash in the world from the world's greatest swordsman, Warlord of the Sea Dracule Mihawk, with no visible damage to himself.
One noticeable drawback is that when transforming into diamonds, Jozu seems to stiffen and has to turn back into his original form to move again depending on how much he converted his body into diamonds. Despite the immense toughness provided by diamond, the user is still susceptible to freezing. Other than that, the user is affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.
Jozu entrance in marineford was dope and very sick!!!
It's a shame the Whitebeard Pirates disbanded like they did, Jozu and Marco were some of my favorites of his sons. Kinda wish we had more info on em, honestly. Sure, we get insights into Marco, Ace, to a lesser extent Thatch (even if we mostly know he was a nice guy who Teach killed), and Izo during the Wano Arc, but the rest are kinda reduced to what their powers are. Like, how about some backstory for Speed Jiru, or Haruta, or Vista and Namur? I'd love to see how Flower Vista joined the crew!
Not just that but the writer just don't show them as powerful individuals just like they were, it's kinda sucks how he let the new generation shine now, but he just trash the old generation it's just a big flaw, those comanders were the only ones who fought og admirals toe to toe, and vista dueled mihawk like no one else, but i feel like if they encounter with strawhatts they will be nerfed to much, and it surprise to me that there is no conqueror haki user in this crew except whitebeard, that dosnt make sense

queen and smoothie arent just tough strong walls, they can also launch powerful ranged attacks and play from distance
ace is the 2yc division commander so narratively speaking jozu is relative in combat power to jack and cracker while smootie and queen are relative to ace

kuzan defeated jozu with an unamed attack, ace vaporized aokiji's named attack while he was tired... thats an ace hater telling you that ace isnt just 2yc level he is high end of 2yc!!! oda even hyped up his haki in his ace novel!!! jozu's haki feats are LOW AF
It jozu has still screen time post timeskip, it would be cool to see a black diamond attack
Awesome part about Jozu in the Sub is that he's voiced by the same Seiyuu who voiced DK.

NGL i definitely want Jozu in a Pirate Warriors game.
As slim of a chance that is, i do think he would be fun to play with.
Also it sucks that he matched up with Kuzan. I think he would have held his own better with Kizaru or Akainu more. Kirazu would be too fast but he could reflect and defend his lasers. And He has enough defense to endure Akainus magma with his diamonds. Google how diamonds react to magma.

@@christopherryancabrera2117i am Not Sure If its Cannon or Not, but Aokijis left leg is also Missing due to Akainu...If someone uses Haki you could also hurt the Logia User...so why a Logia cannot lose an arm or Leg?
Nevetheless the way how Jozu lost It, speaks also for paramecia
Because the fruit only lets you transform your body into diamond, you can't conjure or manipulate the "substance" unlike a Logia. Also, you must actively turn your body into diamond, unlike a Logia whose body is elemental 100% of the time (unless their powers are being negated).
The latter is why Katakuri is a perfect match for his devil fruit, he can peek into the future and is fast enough to morth his body around incoming attacks. That's why Snake-Man worked best, Katakuri couldn't keep up with all the incoming attacks and failed to morph his body in time.
