Have you ever heard beautiful Japanese traditional music?
It's with great pleasure and excitement to release Japanese Style Lady GAGA's "Telephone"(featuring Beyonce).
We play "Telephone" on the SHAKUHACHI, Japanese bamboo flute, and the KOTO, Japanese harp with original Japanese dance.
"SHAKUHACHI(Japanese bamboo flute)" has only 5 finger holes, however even such music be able to perform it!
We Japanese got a lot of help from GAGA 2 years ago for "Japan earthquake".
We never forget gratitude to GAGA. and We wish GAGA complete recovery,and we are waiting for comeback of GAGA.

私達はレディー・ガガが大好きな日本・東京の音楽仲間 「光山組（こうざんぐみ）」です。
2年前の震災後に我々日本人はレディーガガさんから多くの支援、励ましを頂きました。
股関節の痛みと戦っているガガさんが無事戻ってきてパフォーマンス出来るように、日本人としてガガさんを応援するためにこの作品を作りました。
尺八と箏（琴）という古典的な日本の楽器にシンセサイザーを入れ、日本的なオリジナル舞踊で視覚的にも彩りを添えてレディー・ガガ（フューチャリング・ビヨンセ）のTelephoneをカバー（カヴァー）で表現してみました。
尺八は指孔が5つしか無いのに、こんな曲だって演奏できてしまうのです！

레이디 가가의 곡은 데뷔때 만큼은 아니지만 현재까지 가끔씩 계속 듣게되는 명곡인것 같습니다. 왠지 요즘엔 동서양 음악과 악기의 조우도 궁금해지더라구요. 가가의 이 곡 telephone 의 도입부가 가야금 (한국식명칭 가야금, 대명사처럼 쓰입니다.) 과 매우 잘 어울릴것 같아서 찾아보는 중 이였는데 선생님께서 커버를 하셨네요.
제가 상상했던 바 대로 완벽히 구현하셨어요.
비록 제가 선생님의 관악기에 대해서는 무지하여 댓글달기 송구하지만 잘듣고 갑니다..😊 건강하고 행복하세요

Koto is just divine music fit for the gods. The dance motion was effortless, fluent, and captivating. And the smiles on the face of the dancer's face -just beautiful and very innocent. How I wish I had been there at the hall and enjoy the performance!

These people have bridged the gap between ancient traditions and modern pop culture. No wonder why most young Japanese treasure their culture so much.
Coming back to this years later, still just as awesome. I love the little flutter sounds on the flute, how it imitates the stutter in the vocal production (0:17). Also the telephone noises at 3:13. This song is special to my heart and you slam dunked it. The arrangement was really good - it played to the strengths of the two main instruments and the players' abilities. As a person with Asian heritage, it is lovely to see how you are using traditional instruments in a new and fresh way, keeping alive the techniques for another generation to be inspired.
