Honestly, this version is surprisingly amazing...!!! Japanese instruments sounds are fantastic for for this Gaga's work, I must say I like it more than the original.
This is such a beautiful cover of One of Lady Gag's songs and one of my favorites. I love the Kyoto-esque quality to your cover! Its music is fluid and it SLAPS!!
Coming back to this years later, still just as awesome. I love the little flutter sounds on the flute, how it imitates the stutter in the vocal production (0:17). Also the telephone noises at 3:13. This song is special to my heart and you slam dunked it. The arrangement was really good - it played to the strengths of the two main instruments and the players' abilities. As a person with Asian heritage, it is lovely to see how you are using traditional instruments in a new and fresh way, keeping alive the techniques for another generation to be inspired.
