First Time in SPAIN (Bilbao & La Coruña on a Cruise)

- We have finally arrived in Spain!! After all these years we are ticking off this huge bucket list by exploring La Coruna and Bilbao on a cruise.

Our first port of call in Spain was hopping off at the cute little town of La Coruna where the sleepy village was closed for the day - we went for a walk up to the Tower of Hercules - an ancient roman lighthouse still being used thousands of years later.
Next up we headed to Bilbao where we tried our first Spanish tortilla (Spanish omelette) before heading off to to see Dragonstone from Game of Thrones aka Gaztelugatxe - an islet in the Basque countryside.
We then headed into the town of Bilbao to try some Spanish tapas for heading back onto the ship for some more relaxation.

Welcome to Spain everybody!! Can't believe it has taken us this long to get here! Where else should we explore in this beautiful country?
Definitely anywhere the Moors were! Amazing mix of Islamic, Christian and Jewish history. Granada, Cordaba, Seville, Toledo...
Donostia (san sebastian in spanish) is really a cool place in Basque country wher the pintxos game is strong ;)

You have to come back to Galiza and visit the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the Costa da Morte (Coast of death), a breathtaking scenery, and then enjoy all the patrimonies of humanity we have like the beaches or other monuments 😍
Bilbao is one of the most amazing cities i have ever known.

MADRID IS A MUST...LOTS OF ROMAN ARCHITECTURE. ARANJUEZ, EL ESCORIAL.... (A SHORT DRIVE OR TRAIN RIDE AWAY) THE LIST GOES ON....ABSOLUTELY BEAUT. SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO. THE FOOD IN SPAIN IS DELICIOUS...SO MUCH VARIETY, VERY FRESH. SPAIN IS DEFO THE PLACE TO BE👍❤🇪🇦

Spain is probably my favorite European country. For me, the best way to experience it is to pick a city and just stay there for a while. Of course, you can also do some day trips out to nearby cities. I recommend the southern cities. Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba and my favorite is Ronda!
Visit the north. You,ll be surprised.
The Guggenheim museum in Bilbao is a must visit, I was in Spain earlier this month and I’ve never seen anything like it before.

Spain is my favorite country! I lived in Mallorca for 5 months and it is great to visit, lots of beautiful towns, great hiking trails and beautiful beaches. Another city I love in Spain is Sevilla.

You have to visit San Sebastian, is near Bilbao but its beautiful, you seriously have to check it out!!

Mallorca has unreal beaches and stunning scenery if you come away from the tourist traps
If you are into art and are keen on having fun, then Madrid. There are also some gorgeous cities (Toledo, Segovia, Cuenca...), magnificent royal palaces (El Escorial, Aranjuez, La Granja... ) and awesome medieval castles (Turégano, Manzanares el Real, Cuéllar...) in the vicinity. But the most important thing is Madrid is a very entertaining and stimulating city.
The south of Spain is amazing! Especially Sevilla!
And Granada

Barcelona! Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Barcelona Cathedral (go up to the roof and walk along the roof!), take in a flamenco show, train to Montserrat! You'll love it!

In Seville they actually filmed something of game of thrones and Star Wars. It’s an amazing place. You should definitely do a tour on the south. It’s very different from the north, but still very charming
Hey guys, you have to visit Catalonia and the Costa Brava region (beautiful towns and beaches!) And now these days of the year are the best to visit that area. Welcome to the one of the most incredible country's in the world! :)
I recommend you go to the Canary Islands (Mostly Tenerife), Madrid, or the Balearic Islands
On the Canary Islands you can go to the Teide peak, Spain’s tallest mountain and ride Camels. It has a Moroccan theme to it.
On Madrid you can basically do whatever u want
On the Balearic islands visit the incredible beaches and nightlife

You should definitely come back to spain and visit the south. My favourite city is Malaga. Its not super big, but I love it soo much, I actually moved there from Germany last year :D

Can’t see I have seen a lot of Spain, but the places I have gone I loved! Malaga was a beautiful coastal city with amazing architecture and a really unique castle/fort experience overlooking the city. Barcelona was one of the coolest European cities I have been to and so so much to do including day trips outside the city to a monastery and Salvador Dali museum, etc. and I definitely think you could create so much amazing content here! La Ramblas walking street is right up your alley, Parq Guell, Sagrada Familia, etc. I don’t think I’ve watched any Vloggers explore here yet! And Valencia - the City of Arts and Sciences was a super surprise as it’s literally where they filmed the movie “Tomorrowland” and had the most interesting modern architecture.
You should definitely go back to Spain in the future, especially to Andalucía in the south. Cities like Málaga, Ronda, Granada, Sevilla, and Córdoba are worth visiting. You can also go to the white villages (i.e. los pueblos blancos) when you are in that region. Check out the Antigua Casa de Guardia and the Bodega El Pimpi when you visit Málaga. Have a nice future trip to Spain!
Spanish citizens were ahead of their times while living in on the shores of Mediterenean and on the Atlantic ocean side. I was astonished when I had visited from Girona city to Huelva those 10 spanish big cities on the Mediterenean and had perceived many spanish very old and historic cities were built out of stones to 7 floors heights and big apartment doors with not wide streets with nice boutiques and shops with restaurants. Very alluring under the hot and sunny weather with bery blue waters of Mediterenean Sea. I had visited and stayed in Girona, Barcelona, Valencia, Murcia, Alicante, Malaga, Marbella, Algeciraz, Cadiz and Huelva in 15 nights then I hopped to Portugal and stayed there 20 nights in Porto, Aveira, Lisbon Liberdade Avenue, Moskovida District as well, Alvor, Albufeira, Lagos , Faro cities. Those 2 countries are my favorites with their very historical sites and buildings with always shiny and warm, hot , humid weathers all year round.
