Great video. Love the 1976 season as my Reds were great. Of course, the cards have been updated to 1977 "edition" so Tony Perez is on Montreal. Just wondering if the game is fun? Have a good one.
@@redfanrod Thanks. It’s probably comparable Strat basic or APBA basic. It’s not the most sophisticated game but people seem to like it. There are materials in the Files section of the Facebook group that allow you to try it out for free.
Thanks for the video. I have great memories of playing Longball on my bedroom floor with the big result boards surrounding the field mat. My first version had the player cards. I was crushed the next year when i bought the game for the new season, and it had the roster sheets instead of player cards. Fun to see this game in new condition all these years later…
Is it possible to scan the originals on to card stock? I’d be trying to find away to play the game, but preserve the originals. Of course, if that’s not possible…
@@larryrice5231 That will probably happen at some point. I can’t recall if you are on the Longball Facebook page but there is a lot of stuff there in the Files section. I could also send you some stuff directly.
@@steve_etzel Sorry, I wasn’t very clear. My response was to your proposed dilemma at the end of the video. Despite my general avoidance/disdain of all things FB I am a member of this page - mostly to support your good work!
